I know most of you think that Green Arrow is a copy and rip off of Batman. Well that is completely wrong. So before I tell you of my story I would like to explain the differences.
1) Bruce Wayne became Batman after seeing his parents die and wanting to seek vengeance and make sure it never happens to anyone again. Oliver Queen became Green Arrow to fix his city and also for the fun of it.
2) Batman call doesn’t like to think of what he does as being a vigialanty. Green Arrow is a self proclaimed vigilantly.
3) Wayne tries to make his company just the way his father made it. Making every decision as his father would. Queen uses his company to live a life of luxury to take his mind off of his work.
4) Green Arrow is much more charismatic and very sarcastic. Batman is much more serious and intimidating.

Those are just some of the many differences between the two characters. Now for the story:

My Green Arrow story will be a 3(or 4 depending if people like it) part story spanning between the rise of the Green Arrow; and when he meets Green Lantern and the Justice League. The first story will be realistic and they will become progressively more fictitious as they go on. The first one is already very dark and the next two will have dark elements in them.

So far I only know the complete synopsis of the first movie:

Oliver Queen is a stereotypical son of the rich. He loves fast cars, expensive restaurants, and hot women. One night when he decides to take his friends out for a night of fun and relaxation so he can take his mind of the death of his parents. Little did he know this would be a moment that would change his life forever. 5 men storm the boat in an attempt to kidnap his friends and him. He is able to escape off the back of the kidnapper´s boat with nothing but a bow and a leather case of arrows. With this he floats to a nearby island where he thinks he is alone until a group of people on the island find him. On the island he finds his talent for arrows and that he has living a life of disappointment and embarasment. When he leaves the island he finds his assistant Roy Harper and he decides that he wants to help his city by saving it from harm. He finds out that only one friend was able to be saved while the other ones were all brutally murdered. He finds the gang leader that ordered his friends to be kidnapped and hopes to seek vengeance. This becomes much harder when an insane villain that calls himself the Clock King starts to murder people according to different hours on a clock (ex. January-12 die. June-6 die. December-1 dies). Also many teenage and young adults are being killed on a mass scale on several occasions and Green Arrow knows that it is the crime lord that kidnapped him and his friends. The race is off for vengeance and a stop to the mass murders and crimes that are plaguing his city. Remember everything has its…time hahaha(maniac laugh)

So that’s a very broad description of the story I´m going to write about the rise of Green Arrow. Tell me how you like it.

Nice, sounds like it will be a good one!

I always liked Clock King, I always wanted to do a story with him, and it sounds like yours will be good.

Hey man I'd like to know what you think of my Avengers story, let me know what you think man.

Thanks. Can't wait for your story.

Thanks guy,

The story probly wont come out till August because my finals for my summer class are coming up and I think I am going to propose to my girl-friend next week or the week after so i have to pay attention to her and all that shit.

@Hawk-Thanks, i always thought Clock King was a cool villan with an open backstory so I could make it my own.

@dellamorte-I was going to use Merlin but i need villans for my next one. I have 3 villans in this one-Clock King, Crime Lord(unknown name yet), and The Star City Slayer. Thats whats hard about GA that he doesnt have many rougues and people without powers so you have to really strech out what you use.

This is what I have for possible cast:
Paul Walker or Josh Lucas or Jason Mewes for Green Arrow
Hugh Laurie or Jude Law for Clock King
Dave Batista for Hackett(Oliver Queens Body Gaurd)
Jessie Plemons for Roy Harper(not sure yet. its hard to find actors with red hair)

I want to know what people think about Sarah Michelle Gellar for Black Canary

Tell me what you think about the cast and any suggestions, I´m new at the cast thing

Yeah, Clock King would be fun to write, because like Calendar Man, his backstory is very vague, that is why I used Calendar Man in my first Bat story, I wanted Clock King, but he is not a Batman villain.

I look forward to the story.

Oh and for sasting, Ollie has always been a bit older than the rest of the heroes, so I've always thought
Kiefer Sutherland would be great.

And even though she has already been in two Marvel movies, I think she would be perfect for Black Canary,
Rebecca Romijn

I would say Keifer but I am doing the rise of green arrow which would make him young. Rebecca Romain would be erfect but I dont like using people that have already been in comic book movies. At this poin I´m thinking:
Paul Walker as Oliver Queen/Green Arrow
Charlize Theron as Black Canary.

Although I am still not sure if Black Canary will be in this one. What do you think about the other choices?

Hugh Laurie is who i would cast as Clock King, he is probably the only man that could pull it off.

For Roy Harper, it sounds lke you are making him older, so I would go with Shawn Hatosy

I'm glad did that Justice League casting, now i have a pick for everyone!

I guess the Roy Harper assistant thing would work. More plausible than a red headed white kid on an Indian reservation. I like the picks for Clock King, but not the rest of the casting. I say go with an unknown for young Ollie. I like the idea of Keifer Sutherland for experienced Ollie if they were to skip the origin story.

I have never liked origin movies, and I don't really care for Ollie's origin, even though he is one of my favorite heroes. If they ever made a justice League movie, Sutherland is who I would want in it as an experienced Green Arrow.

HAWK out.

Yeah Indian reservation would take too long to explain. I would say an unknown but because its a fan fic i want to have a face for my character.

Well the origin is going to be a pretty short part of my story. It will mostly be Green Arrow vs. clock king and vengence against the crime lord. crime lord.

I would say keifer sutherland but i still think he's too old for what I am doing. So i'm probs gonna go with Paul Walker.

I didnt even remember that you had Laurie as Clock King I didnt know he was justice league.

Actually HAWK for Roy Harper I wanted someone younger. Like low twenties. Someone like Jared Padalaki, but probly not him. So if you know anyone tell me. I need someone young but could look kind of dark. Also I need a black canary for a future one.

Guys guys guys.. Matthew Mcconaughey for Ollie.. He fits the part perfectly.. He's a bit older than the other heroes, he got the streetwise attitude, he can play the charismatic rich guy and the sarcastic city defender, he got an American accent, he even has the wavy golden flock, Heck, he can even grow a beard that match too.. What else do you need? Now for the rest of the cast, I say it's SUPERB!!

PieFace. I'm not very mean usually, but ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR PIE EATIN MIND!?!?!?!?!??!?!? Mcconaughey can't do anything besides Stoned surfer boy, and stoned surfer man.

While Sutherland has a diverse range of skills and abilities making him an excelent choice for the role of an older Ollie. Paul Walker isn't bad, but I'd rather see him as Aquaman.

@Batmanknight. What about Thomas Decker for Roy?
