Ideas:
- The plot revolves around Bruce Wayne, who is trapped in an asylum, and sees everything as how we know the DC Universe. The inmates represent the heroes; the workers represent the villains.
- Bruce Wayne is actually the psychopath who attempted to murder his parents, and is actually a cripple who wants to be a martial artist after seeing Jackie Chan movies.
- The Joker is actually a priest who tries to help Wayne.
- Superman is actually twins: the muscular, intimidating, dumb Clark Doyle and the wimpy wannabe writer Kent Doyle.
- Wonder Woman is a shemale with major issues against men.
- The Flash is a former track star detoxing off of speed.
- Martian Manhunter is a former firefighter whose friend burned in a fire that he couldn't get to.
- Aquaman believes he comes from a family of royalty, but is afraid of water
- Lex Luthor owns the asylum and buts heads with the Doyle twins.
- Reverse Flash is a former speed addict that tries to help the Flash with his problems.
- Ares is the ex-boyfriend and psychiatrist of Wonder Woman who dumped her after finding out she was a shemale.
- Ocean Master is the illusion Aquaman sees whenever he is near water.
- The incarnations of Robin are illusions that Bruce see’s (when he started talking to “Jason” the Priest told him that “Robin” is grown up and needs to stay grown up, thus “killing Jason Todd”.
- The Green Lantern Corps and Sinestro Corps are rival gangs in the asylum (identifiable by either a ring or a tattoo, not yet decided)
- Thomas Wayne, Jor-El, and all the other dead parents aren't really dead, just believed to be by Batman so their origins would match his own.
- Catwoman is a constant visitor to the asylum who sexually abuses Bruce whenever she comes by.
- Zod, Bane, and Gorilla Grodd are security guards at the asylum, all identifiable by certain traits.
- Solomon Grundy is a random dead body that Bruce saw in the asylum once.
- Harley Quinn is a nun that works with Joker.
- Two Possible Endings:
a) All the parents of the prisoners meet up in an epilogue/prequel to the story where they discuss what to do about their kids, thus the story of the asylum.
b) Bruce and all the other inmates are at a table, where a first flash shows the inmates and Bruce as their Justice League incarnation, and a second shows Bruce smiling alone at the same table, making the reader wonder if the inmates are made up too…
- Bruce Wayne is patient #00001.
