Robert Rodrigiez's Troublemaker Studios is working fast as they plan on shooting Predators, their reboot of Predator on September 28th in Austin, Texas, where they are currently lensing Machete. Being helmed by Nimrod Antal (Vacancy), Bloody Disgusting has learned exclusively that they are currently seeking actors to play "Black", "Asian", "Russian" and "Latino" marines. Got to have some flavor in this "prequel."

In this version, a group of humans will find themselves stranded on a planet home to Predators and must survive the horrors they encounter. James Cameron pulled a similar move with his advancement of the Alien franchise in his Aliens.

Here is the cast that I would like. I've included the rumored ones 'cause I agree with them.



Michael Jai White for the Black Marine
Danny Trejo for the Latino Marine
Daniel Henney for the Asian Marine
and Peter Stormare as the Russian

Holy shit, that would be a bad ass cast. I don't see Trejo as a Marine, just a bad ass in the right place to kick ass, at the right time to kick ass.

This would be a badass cast! and Actually if it is a special ops team, Trejo would fit perfectly with his tatoos and long hair. Similar to some of the characters in the first Predator.

Good cast. I would like to replace Michael Jai White with the guy who played the assassin in Serenity though. He is also my pic for Black Panther.

Damn, that is a nice line-up of badass's. Peter Stormare is awesome, and my all time favorite portrayal of Satan goes to him, he so rocked it in Constantine.

@ LEEE, how do you know there isn't jungle where they come from? In my recolection, (and I could be wrong, so don't quote me), no one has ever really gone into detail about their planet.

I think that Dolph Lundgren should play the Russian marine. That would be AWESOME!!!
