Batman is one of the toughest non-powered heroes within the DC Universe as well as one of the smartest. There is no debate he is the greatest detective but there is some debate as to whether or not he has the ability to defeat the likes of Superman and other high powered heroes. Batman may not be able to defeat them, but he does have a contingency plan in case any heroes decide to go rogue. A prime example of this is within the pages of JLA: Tower of Babel. Within this story arc, we find Batman's has been keeping records concerning the strengths and weaknesses of his allies in the JLA, including plans to neutralise his allies in a fight. Another case of Batman's intelligence is he keeps a kryptonite ring in his utility belt in case he has to face Kryptonians or even the man of steel himself.
But can he defeat them with these contingencies in place? And what if Batman somehow makes it into the Marvel Universe? More than likely, Batman would get a feel for his surroundings and learn to adapt as he always does. The following fights will be left to the fans as to who is the better fighter. Assume Batman has been in the Marvel Universe for a month and has been in hiding, while gathering data on his coming opponents. If he were to face some of these characters, would he actually win, or would he fall? It's time for you to decide...is Batman tough enough?

"Sometimes, I admit, I think of Bruce as a man in a costume. Then, with some gadget from his utility belt, he reminds me that he has an extraordinarily inventive mind. And how lucky I am to be able to call on him." --Superman

Fantomex proves to be a match for the dark knight but even with Fantomex's skills with misdirection and his ability to read body language, it just wasn't enough. Bruce, figures out what's going on and changes his fighting style to take him down and both men earn each other's respect.

Batman proves to be no match for the ragin' cajun. Bruce attempts to fight fire with fire (or batarangs with playing cards), but Gambit uses that against the dark knight by catching them and redirecting the kinetically charged batarangs back. After the fight is over, Gambit gives the beaten Batman a two-finger salute, lights up a cig and walks away.

Hawkeye lets volley after volley of arrows towards the dark knight, but even with his skills, can only land one into Bruce's shoulder. Not before Batman is able to send off a sticky charge onto Clint's bow. Hawkeye is forced to toss it before it blows and both men begin hand-to-hand. Although trained by Steve Rogers, it just isn't enough as the injured Batman is able to land enough solid blows to knock the golden archer out cold.

Today, Iceman proves to the dark knight why he is an omega level mutant. Batman assumes he has the upper hand due to facing Mr. Freeze countless times, but Bobby is a veteran fighter. After multiple attacks with long range weapons, Iceman just continues to regenerate himself until he eventually gains the upper hand. Iceman manages to focus his ice shards to knock Batman's utility belt off. After that, he bombards Bruce with ice blasts until he is frozen in an ice prison.

Batman assumes this will be an easy fight (even after recon) but doesn't realize just how skilled Sue Storm is. She keeps Bruce at bay because she knows she can't win hand-to-hand. She stays up high while Bruce attempts to knock her down. He eventually manages to do so, but didn't realize until the last minute it was purposely in order for him to drop his guard. Sue entraps Bruce in an airtight bubble around his body and tightens it around Batman, until he finally passes out.

After about an hour of fighting, both fighters are fatigued from battle but thanks to Danny Rand's ability to heal through chi, gains the upper hand and manages to get close enough to land the finishing blow on the dark knight, leaving him temporarily paralyzed.
This was a very good round. Most battles came fairly close.
