Batman is one of the toughest non-powered heroes within the DC Universe as well as one of the smartest. There is no debate he is the greatest detective but there is some debate as to whether or not he has the ability to defeat the likes of Superman and other high powered heroes. Batman may not be able to defeat them, but he does have a contingency plan in case any heroes decide to go rogue. A prime example of this is within the pages of JLA: Tower of Babel. Within this story arc, we find Batman's has been keeping records concerning the strengths and weaknesses of his allies in the JLA, including plans to neutralise his allies in a fight. Another case of Batman's intelligence is he keeps a kryptonite ring in his utility belt in case he has to face Kryptonians or even the man of steel himself.

But can he defeat them with these contingencies in place? And what if Batman somehow makes it into the Marvel Universe? More than likely, Batman would get a feel for his surroundings and learn to adapt as he always does. The following fights will be left to the fans as to who is the better fighter. Assume Batman has been in the Marvel Universe for a month and has been in hiding, while gathering data on his coming opponents. If he were to face some of these characters, would he actually win, or would he fall? It's time for you to decide...is Batman tough enough?

"Sometimes, I admit, I think of Bruce as a man in a costume. Then, with some gadget from his utility belt, he reminds me that he has an extraordinarily inventive mind. And how lucky I am to be able to call on him." --Superman

He may be the greatest detective but Iron Man is one of the top 5 smartest men on the planet. Batman was hoping to use some of his tech to neutralize Stark's suit, but it is immune to EMP's and what Tony conisders "low-tech" Bruce has. The battle of wits lasts for only a bit but Iron Man eventually takes Batman down at the end.

Luke Cage vs. Batman:
Luke Cage

Luke Cage figured he will take on the Bat no problem but let his guard down a little. What Cage doesn't know is Batman takes on guys like him on a regular basis so it was just a matter of time before he figures out Cage's weaknesses, exploits them and comes out the victor.

Mockingbird vs. Batman:
Mockingbird

Batman

Mockingbird may be a very well trained fighter but Batman is just better, hands down. The battle only takes a matter of minutes and Morse is kissing pavement. She does hold her own...briefly, but she knew from the start she was no match for the dark knight.

Moon Knight vs. Batman:
Moon Knight

Batman
14 Votes (51.85%)
Both fighters realize they are pretty evenly matched. These two combatants fight defensively for some time, each trying to figure out each other's weaknesses. Towards the end, Moon Knight starts to get frustrated and his bi-polar mind starts to work in overdrive. Batman seizes the opportunity and lands a finishing blow, but not before each man is bloodied and bruised. This fight is something neither of them will forget.

Batman realizes he's up against on of the most brilliant minds in the the Marvel Universe and continuously tries to gain the upper hand but realizes Reed has practically thought of every scenario and adapted to it. At the very end, Reed, traps Batman in Reed's rubber band body and the two end up calling a truce. These great minds decide its better to become allies and call it a day.

Multiple Man vs. Batman:
Multiple Man

Jamie is pretty sure he can take one man if he duplicates himself into ten men but realizes he is utterly mistaken so he duplicates to his limit. One thing Multiple Man doesn't realize is Batman takes dozens of thugs on a daily basis and this is barely a sweat for him. Jamie gets mad and wonders how one man can defeat so many people. Batman knocks out the last duplicate with a fierce kick to the face, dusts the dirt off his cape, and disappears into an alleyway.

So does Ichigo Kurosaki have his chance to take on Marvel/DC characters?
That would be pretty cool

Nah...that's lame
10 Votes (47.62%)
Yes he does. It'll be a bit because Batman has some Marvel villains to tangle with and Wolverine or Deadpool will be getting his rocks off in the DC Universe but he will have his chance.

Speaking of which, will either Deadpool or Wolverine be going to the DC Universe to stir up trouble?
Wolverine

Deadpool

Looks like Deadpool is going to make some noise and irritate a number of people. This battle was a long one due to the fact both competitors have super regenerative healing but in the end Wolverine gets bored and irritated with Wade and decides to take up cigar smoking and finishing of a case of beer so he walks away and lets Wade take the win.

Theres absolutely nothin Batman can do to beat Iron Man. And yes, Iron Man's armor is immune to EMP, so that wont help. Iron Man is smarter, his armor gives him superhuman strength, durability, and reflexes. Plus with the addition to all the defensive and offensive capabilities Iron Man has, his tech would make Batman gadgets look like toys.

Batman would get obliterated badly

Iron Man wins in a STOMP!!!!

I definitely don't think batman can beat everyone. But if you look at his resume' he is the best/most skilled fighter in DC or Marvel. In DC, he's regarded as onf of the most shilled warriors to walk the earth EVER. He's stronger, faster, more agile and has more stamina than even the highest level olympic athlete. He's one of the smartest people on the planet. He fights against enemies stronger and more powerful than himself on a regular basis. Still, Bats can definitely lose, but anyone that can beat Batman, would beat 80% of anyone in marvel or dc...

@MoonDoggyx: You're saying he's a better fighter than Karate Kid, Iron Fist, Cassandra Kain, Lady Shiva, Bronze Tiger and Black Panther? hmmmm.......

MoonDoggyX - 8/1/2011, 1:07 PM
@0SageMode0 - Definitely better that Cassandra Cain, Lady Shiva... Black Panther and Iron Fist aren't even the best fighters in Marvel, as far as pure fighting skill, Bats is better. Though I do think if they fought, Iron fist would whoop Bats up and down the street due to his supernatural powers. Bronze tiger did tie bats in a fight. Karate kid might actually be a better fighter

iron fist can punch holes in steel,i wouldn't want to be batman on the recieving end of one of them.

As much as i like batman, DC's made him too powerful i mean you have superman and even wonderwoman. I'm sorry but as far as brute force and abilities are concern batman should dead last on the totem pole.

@ toughgrappler - how about I pit Ichigo against the two Universe's and then also do a Dragonball vs. Marvel/DC?
