I've been doing so much artwork for customers lately that I just wanted to do something goofy for myself.
I did a one page smash up of Charles Schultz's Peanut Characters and Frank Miller's Sin City Characters. The run down of the Characters is as follows:
Nancy Callahan - Peppermint Patty
Marv - Pigpen (In the background of panel #2)
Hardigan - Charlie Brown
That Yellow Bastard - Woodstock
I decided to make Nancy/Patty look more realistic... cause let's face it; without a beautiful woman it wouldn't be "Frank Miller style". So you will notice she looks more like "Nancy" than "Patty" except for the added freckles and red hair. Everyone else I made gritty but kept the cartoonish nature of the characters.
I just had fun with this one, I hope you guys do too!
