My cast for a Question Movie:
The Question-Kiefer Sutherland (24, Phone Booth)
I would love to see Sutherland play the Question. Sutherland is a great actor, in my book. A big part of the reason I cast Sutherland was because of his awesome voice. To me the voice has to represent the personality of the character in some way or another. Would you take the Punisher seriously if he had a high squeaky voice? Or Superman if he talked like a hillbilly would? To me Kiefer’s has the voice of the mysterious, quiet types, which would be perfect for the Question. He can also dish out some action as well, as seen from 24. Some other actors I considered were Liam Neeson, fan favorite Misha Collins, Ralph Fiennes, and Cillian Murphy.
Aristotle Rodor-William Hurt (A History of Violence, the Incredible Hulk)
I’m not exactly the biggest fan of Hurt as an actor, but I wouldn’t mind seeing him as the creator of pseudoderm, the Question’s artificial skin that serves to not let anyone recognize him.
Huntress-Kate Beckinsale (Underworld, Underworld: Evolution)
A big fan of the Underworld Series, I think Beckinsale would be good as Huntress, who is also the Question’s love interest. She’s beautiful, athletic and doesn’t look out of place when it comes to kicking some ass.
Richard Dragon-David Wenham (The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, Return of the King)
As I would like to see a Question movie follow the O’Neill series, I would like to see Wenham play Richard Dragon, the man who teaches Vic Sage how to fight. He practically looks like him and we haven’t seen him really do that much in a while now.
Lady Shiva-Kelly Hu (X2)
While this may not be the most creative of casts, as she played a similar role as Deathstrike in X2, who can deny that, she could do well as Shiva, who would ambush the Question so that he learns how to fight with skill from Dragon.
Renee Montoya-Naomi Watts
I wouldn’t like to see the woman who would become the 2nd Question in the original’s movie, but if she did I would like to see her played by Naomi Watts. Maybe not my best casting, but hey, I think she’s a good actress. She’d have to dye her hair black, of course. Maybe her character could serve as like a police ally to the Question?
Well anyway that’s my cast! Comment, criticize, compliment, whatever you want to! And don’t take it easy on me. I’m not afraid of criticism.
