Uncharted: Drake's Fortune
Nathan Drake - Bradley Cooper 38 6'1" (The Hangover, Silver Linings Playbook)
A treasure hunter, Nate believes himself to be the descendant of the famous English explorer Francis Drake. By the events of Drake's Deception, he is married to Elena Fisher.
An overused choice for Drake, but American actor Bradley Cooper is the right one in my opinion, he can handle the action and deliver humorous lines just like Drake does, and if you think at 38 he's too old to carry a franchise, Harrison Ford was a year older in Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Elena Fisher - Scarlett Johansson 28 5'3" (Lost in Translation, The Avengers)
An American journalist, TV personality and Foreign Correspondent appearing in all of the games and the female lead, and main love interest. By the events of Drake's Deception she is married to Nathan Drake.
I chose American actress Scarlett Johansson as Elena Fisher because, in my eyes at least, she is ideal for it,, she has a similar look to Elena and has action credentials and wouldn't turn hher into a damsel in distress as other popular choices, I believe would make her.
Victor "Sully" Sullivan - Bryan Cranston 57 5'10.5" (Breaking Bad, Argo)
An American treasure hunter as well as friend and mentor at one point of Nathan Drake.
I chose American actor Bryan Cranston as Sully, because I thought he could it simply put, he's a great actor and could easily be Sully. I also heavily considered Woody Harrelson for this.
Gabriel Roman - Stephen Lang 61 5'10.5" (Avatar, Conan the Barbarian)
An antagonist in Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. A British crime lord and treasure hunter, he hired the services of the mercenaries led by Atoq Navarro, who became his lieutenant, and the pirates led by Eddy Raja, whom he soon dismissed due to him being a "superstitous idiot".
I chose American actor Stephen Lang as Roman, because although not British, he has the air and acting ability to make himself seem a threat to Drake and his friends.
Atoq Navarro - Rodrigo Santoro 38 6'2.5" (Mulheres Apaixonadas, 300)
A South American archaeologist that also leads a team of highly trained South American mercenaries hired by Gabriel Roman. He is an antagonist and the final boss in Uncharted: Drake's Fortune. Throughout the game, he is Roman's right-hand man, who demonstrates knowledge of El Dorado.
I chose Brazilian actor Rodrigo Santoro as Navarro, because he's South American like Navarro but also because he can do the calm villain like in 300.
Eddy Raja - John Leguizamo 49 5'6.5" (Ice Age, Moulin Rouge!)
The tertiary antagonist in Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, and the leader of an Indonesian pirate gang. He was one of many treasure hunters interested in acquiring the fabled El Dorado, and formed an alliance with Atoq Navarro and Gabriel Roman. They competed with Nathan Drake, Eddy's archrival, (whom he's already been well-acquainted with by the start of the game), Elena Fisher, and Victor Sullivan.
I chose Colombian-American actor John Leguizamo as Raja, because well, I couldn't think of anyone else, I don't know any Indonesian or surrounding countries actors that would be able to pull off the comedic interactions with Drake. Other suggestions welcome.
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves
Harry Flynn - Sharlto Copley 39 6' (District 9, Elysium)
A British treasure hunter and the secondary antagonist of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves.
I chose South African actor Sharlto copley for Flynn, because although I've not seen Copley change from his naive accent, I just feel he'd be so good as Flynn I could ignore it and hopefully you guys do too.
Chloe Frazer - Emily Blunt 30 5'7" (Looper, The Devil Wears Prada)
An Australian treasure hunter introduced in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. Chloe and Nathan Drake were in a relationship for some time in the past. In Among Thieves, Chloe acts like a double agent, secretly helping Nate while also supporting Zoran Lazarevic's forces and Harry Flynn. Little is known about Chloe's history. She returns in Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception, helping Nate and Sully in London and Syria.
I chose English actress Emily Blunt for Chloe, because she is a poplar choice for the character and I'm sure she wouldn't have trouble with the accent.
Zoran Lazarević - Dolph Lundgren 55 6'5.5" (The Expendables, Universal Soldier)
A Serbian war criminal, an international warlord, and the primary antagonist and final boss of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. Zoran Lazarevic seeks to find the lost city for Shambhala for his own evil goals. During Uncharted 2, he hires Harry Flynn to help him with his search, and in the process he fights Nathan Drake.
I chose Swedish actor Dolph Lundgren, because honestly I thought I'd struggle with this one but I watched The Expendables the other day and this just dawned on me.
Jeff - Zach McGowan 32 6' (Terminator Salvation, Shameless)
An American cameraman who works with journalist Elena Fisher during the events of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves, helping her to trail a "fugitive war criminal" for her show, Zoran Lazarevic.
I chose American actor Zach McGowan for Jeff, because I wanted a relatively unknown actor and an original pick so that ruled out Joel David Moore.
Karl Schäfer - Ben Kingsley 69 5'8" (Schindler's List, Hugo)
A character that appears in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. He was a German expeditioner who was once a treasure hunter like Nathan Drake. He had once been told to find the entrance to Shambhala, but he decided to not continue his Ahnenerbe expedition after discovering the power of the Cintamani Stone.
I chose English actor Ben Kingsley for Schafer because originally I was going to pick a more suitable choice in Rutger Hauer but I thought why not pick someone who would tweak the role a bit and keep in original.
Tenzin - Rajeev Khandelwal 37 (Aamir, Shaitan)
A Tibetan explorer in Uncharted 2: Among Thieves. He is currently the only main character within the series that is unable to speak English.
I chose Indian actor Rajeev Khandelwal for Tenzin, because I struggled with this then I decided that an Bollywood actor could do so pretty much a quick search left me with him. Other suggestions welcome.
Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception
Talbot Nikolaj Coster-Waldau 43 6'1.5" (Oblivion, Mama)
Katherine Marlowe's right-hand man. He is the secondary antagonist and final boss of Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception.
I chose Danish actor Nikolaj Coster-Waldau for Talbot because I believe he would be great as th near emotionless Talbot but can do the rage we see him in at the end.
Charlie Cutter - Gerard Butler 43 6'2" (300, How to Train Your Dragon)
A British fortune hunter, and a new character introduced in Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. Initially believed to be an antagonist, soon revealed to be otherwise.
I chose Scottish actor Gerard Butler for Charlie, because I think he could do the hard man stuff and the more wussy side of Cutter aswell.
Katherine Marlowe - Emma Thompson 54 5'8" (Sense and Sensibility, Brave)
The primary antagonist in Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. Marlowe is British, and the sinister, manipulative and coldly calculating leader of a hermetic secret society formed 400 years ago by Queen Elizabeth.
I chose English actress Emma Thompson for Marlowe, because I originally was going for older but then I remembered that her and Sully had a thing so I needed someone round my Sully pick's age, and I chose the brilliant mma Thompson.
Salim - Randeep Hooda 37 6' (Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster, Once Upon a Time in Mumbai)
A character that appears in Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception.
I chose Indian actor Randeep Hooda for Salim, because of pretty much the same as Tenzin. Other suggestions welcome.
