Hello Comic book movie users, it's been quite some time since I "wrote" an article so I thought I would start writing again. This editorial, as mentioned above, is about the upcoming Fantastic Four remake/reboot. This is how Marvel or Fox could make a 6 picture Fantastic Four franchise.

Fantastic Four Film #1: "The Fantastic Four"
They are explorers, scientist, innovators, inventors, and the exposure to an unknown type of cosmic rays accident happened on one of their explorations/studies in space. They could gloss over the origin similarly to The Incredible Hulk, and have them exploring subterranean tremors/odd natural occurrences in the Earth. Because of this, my villain (like the comics) would be Mole Man, with Doctor Doom as the real villain manipulating Mole Man to test the Fantastic Four and their abilities. The Fantastic Four defeating Mole Man would make them not just explorers but heroes too.

Fantastic Four #2: "The Fantastic Four: The Sub-Mariner"
Namor, as the king of Atlantis wants a queen, but he feels no woman is good enough for him. Due to the events in the first film, subterranean tremors, Namor became interested in the human's activities and vists the surface. While there, he runs into Doctor Doom, who seems to already know about Namor and Atlantis. Doctor Doom manipulates Namor into wanting Invisible Woman. This works, and Namor decides he wants Invisible Woman as his wife and goes to the surface to get her. This causes conflict as she is in a relationship with Mr. Fantastic, causing Namor to attack the FF. Namor would eventually be defeated by the team, go back to Atlantis, and even make the FF more popular to the world...or worlds. I'd have a epilogue with the Skrulls planning on invading Earth and studying Earth.

Fantastic Four Film #3: "The Fantastic Four: Doom"
Since the Namor incident, Reed & Susan married, with Ben as the best man, and it's revealed Sue is pregnant. Doom, with the failed plan of Namor, decides to take matters into his own hands. Using his sorcery and magic, he is able to transfer his mind into Reed's body and visa versa, with the plan to split up the Fantastic Four from the inside. Susan sees through this as Doom has no knowledge of her pregnancy, causing him to have to resort to rushing his plan. During this, Reed as Doom, studies sorcery to hopefully find a spell to reverse this but to no avail. It turns out Doom's plan is to bring his mother back to life from hell using a device Reed has since he studied with Reed in college and they built the device until Reed decided it was impossible, believing in science, not "fantasy". Eventually Reed finds a spell to transfer minds but his sorcery is weak so he needs to be in close range for it to work, prompting him to teleport to the Baxter Building in time to fight Doom. He transfers minds and fights Doom, in the process destroying the machine. They defeat Doom, who goes back to his country Latveria, and decide to prepare for their soon to be son.

Fantastic Four Film #4: "The Fantastic Four: Invasion"
A few years since Doom attacked the FF, they have been able to focus on exploration and science again while raising Franklin (now 6). While working on a device to help detect and locate the type of energy they were exposed to, as Franklin seems to be radiating it mildy, Reed notices that their mailman since the Namor attack (Willie Lumpkin) is radiating an odd form of energy. Reed questions Willie who then attacks Reed. Reed takes him down, revealing his true form as a shape-shifting Skrull. Reed tells the team about this and they use his device to learn that millions of people are really Skrulls, disguised as humans. After bringing Franklin to a safe place, they find the Skrull mothership and journey to it. On the ship they're captured via the Super Skrull yet eventually get free, defeat the Super Skrull, and reach the Queen of the Skrulls. They also learn that the Skrulls are on Earth not only to study them but to witness "The Devourer". As the Fantastic Four could defeat the Skrull's greatest warrior, they are able to convince them to leave Earth, but not before the queen tells them of what happened to Skrullos.

Fantastic Four Film #5: "The Fantastic Four: Devourer of Worlds"
2 years after the Skrull invasion, nothing has happened, which bothers Reed as he has been researching odd events in space since the Skrull invasion. Suddenly though, a strange humanoid figure approaches Earth with a message, Galactus is coming...causing worldwide chaos. The team assume this is "The Devourer" and approaches the Surfer. The Silver Surfer then explains Galactus and what will occur to Earth soon. The Fantastic Four then asks the Surfer questions, during which the Surfer feels that Earth is like . The Surfer tells his origin, and says that only the Ultimate Nullifier can defeat Galactus, but it's on his ship, Taa II. Initially the Surfer doesn't want to help Earth but after seeing a great portion of it feels he cannot let the Earth die. With this new chance of survival, Reed decides that Johnny (Human Torch) will covertly sneak onto Taa II and steal the Ultimate Nullifier, as a plan b for if the Surfer can't make Galactus leave Earth. Galactus arrives and the Surfer fails to convince him to leave, causing the Fantastic Four to threaten him with the Ultimate Nullifier. Faced with this, Galactus decides to leave Earth but not before punishing the Silver Surfer by trapping him on Earth.

Fantastic Four Film #6: "The Fantastic Four: Future Foundation"
3 years after Galactus, the Fantastic Four are enjoying life again, exploring, discovering, etc. Franklin though, now 11 years old, starts truly developing his powers. Reed and Sue decide to test what he can do and in the process open up a portal to the Negative Zone. Getting the team together, they journey there. While in the Negative Zone, the FF encounter a few creatures, prompting them to hide Franklin briefly during the fight. One of the creatures, Annihilus, sensing the power Franklin has in him, takes him for unknown reasons. After the team defeats the creatures, they notice Franklin's gone and search for him using a tracer signal from his suit. At the hideout of Annihilus, he conducts Franklin's energies into a weapon, naming it the Cosmic Control Rod. Once the team gets to Franklin, the rescue him and attempt to fight Annihilus, but they are defeated by his new-found power. Barely escaping with a man-made portal the team gets back to the Baxter Building. Once there, Franklin starts experiencing a vision, due to Annihilus using him to make the Cosmic Control Rod, he knows what Annihilus plans to use it for, to send a wave of creatures from the Negative Zone to Earth and conquer it. With this new information, the FF goes to various people that could potentially help them fight off this Annihilation Wave. They go to Atlantis to ask Namor, Latveria to ask Doctor Doom, & they find and ask the Silver Surfer. All agree as Namor wants to protect Atlantis, Doom with Latveria, and the Silver Surfer who sees Earth as his new home. Annihilus & his Annihilation Wave come to Earth and a massive battle ensues. During the battle, Johnny Storm (Human torch) is about to be killed by a swarm of creatures until Franklin sees this and snaps, unleashing some of his powers on the creatures, saving Johnny, and attacking Annihilus directly. They both fight, but Franklin overpowers him and takes the rod away. Without the Cosmic Control Rod, Annihilus is defeated and he and his Annihilation Wave are sent back to the Negative Zone. Seeing how much they accomplished with Namor, Doom, & the Silver Surfer, the FF realize that they're not just 4 anymore but a larger group. Reed renames them the Future Foundation, adding Doom, Silver Surfer, & Namor, as all of them together can plan for a better future for all of humanity....the end.

Inpersonally would stop watching these movies after Doom. That is a really campy plot. I also think it would be hard to make Doom a behind the scenes villain since he was there with the Fantastic Four when they got their powers. This should be in fan fix also

I don't believe that this would be a "good" franchise. Maybe Fox would make a quick buck, but the fans wouldn't be too pleased. I'd probably watch them, but I don't know how long I could stay interested. They're good stories, just repetitive. Anyway, there's nothing too original about your plots, they're straight out of the comics.

Your 4th film idea, Invasion, does actually sound quite interesting, the rest though... it was fun to read at least.

It's nice to dream and all, and I'm not attacking you or anything, but if you really think the general public will put up with 6 continuous Fantasic Four films, well... let's just say that's a pretty optimistic outlook you have there.

Heck in a recent poll about the most anticipated movie of 2013 CBM users were saying how they were starting to get a little bored of Iron man, IRON MAN!

He's the most popular Marvel superhero at the moment and before the 3rd film is already out some are saying their already tired of his individual series and just want him to appear in Avengers exclusively.

Let's hope we can get at least 1 good Fantastic Four film out before we start mapping out the next 5 movies.

I could be wrong. 20th Century Fox might do exactly this and make bank. But as a fan, Invasion and Future Foundation are the only two interesting enough. Also, what I was trying to imply in my last comment was: You wrote a very basic synopsis/summary — of course I'm going to say it sounds "generic". You should of written a more detailed Fan Fiction.

Yes. A Negative Zone Annihilation Wave would be an epic ending, if there ever was a need to end a Fantastic Four franchise. Totally agree with you there.

@ Hybrid0027

i think your ideas are better just because you've planned for six movies, mine was just a trilogy.

i do believe only one studio will ever give us the fantastic four we deserve & that my friend is marvel studios.
