An updated remake of the 1981 classic movie, Louis Leterrier's Clash of the Titans is loosely based on Greek mythology and stars Sam Worthington as Perseus, Liam Neeson as Zeus, Ralph Fiennes as Hades, Gemma Arterton as Io, Mads Mikkelsen as Draco, Polly Walker as Cassiopeia, Jason Flemyng as Acrisius/Calibos and Alexa Davalos as Andromeda.





































Clash of the Titans opens April 2nd in 2-D and 3-D.

looking sweet. If they are doing a Clash 2+3 now, how are they gunna top The Kraken! I can't really remember the original (I was very young the last time I saw it), but can someone enlighten me as to possible things that could pop up in the sequels

@SephirothUK: Good question! But, Greek mythology is vast and deep; there's all manner of creatures and beasties to draw from.

I think it would be cool to bring back that other Greek myth-inspired classic movie to feature the stop-motion animation of Ray Harryhausen, Jason and the Argonauts!

@Brent agreed, first thought that comes to mind is that they will think of a way to connect the two films (Clash & Argonauts).

What about Harryhausen's lost project; Force of The Trojans as the epic finalie?

I'd love to see Sinbad reimagined too!

@ Brent - I remember the Hydra! That could be awesome. The Colossus could be in danger of being very simular, battle and scale wise, to the Kraken fight in this one. But I like where your heads at!

@sadmamba - a Cyclops would be a great minion/mini boss for Sam to fight.

I'm loving these ideas! Greek mythology movies have been gone for too long.

if i do remember its cyclops vs dragon in Sinbad..if Louis Leterrier will make the remake, im sure that we are going to see an epic fight, just like what we saw in TIH, hulk vs the abomination :D

I love all of Harryhausen's work. Jason and the Argo's would definitely be a good remake, providing if I enjoy what the do to Clash.

Hell, what about Sinbad? Still some of my all time Favorites. there is a plethora of movies that could be made off of that name alone.

I see these images and i can't stop thinking how it will look a Live Action adaptation of Saint Seiya (Knights of the Zodiac). Awesome!
