ARTEMIS FOWL Teaser Trailer And Poster Take Us To A Whole New World And Says It's Time To Believe

There's still no sign of the Avengers 4 trailer but Disney has just dropped our first look at director Kenneth Branagh's (THOR) big screen adaptation of Eoin Colfer's popular series of fantasy novels...

While it's fair to say that we're all getting increasingly more anxious about seeing the first Avengers 4 trailer, Disney is instead dropping teasers for pretty much every other upcoming release on its calendar, including Dumbo, The Lion King, and now Artemis Fowl!

Directed by Kenneth Branagh, the big screen adaptation of Eoin Colfer's fantasy book series is long overdue and provides some very interesting hints about what's coming when it's released next August (that's right, we've seen footage from this before Avengers 4 which is out in April/May).

We get to see newcomer Ferdia Shaw as the young criminal mastermind, while Dame Judi Dench can be heard as Commander Root. The cast also includes Josh Gad, Lara McDonnell, and Miranda Raison.

What do you think about this first look at Artemis Fowl? Share your thoughts down below.

Yeah, Disney has a lot going for them, but they are terrible at book adaptations.

The books are pretty great - and have a big world to build on screen. Disney is about the only studio who could tackle it so hope they pull it off!

I'm pretty sure Disney is just messing with us now. And I hope this doesn't turn out like A Wrinkle in Time.

Also, what the heck happened to Dench's voice? I seriously couldn't listen to that voice-over
