The latest poster released by the Weinstein Co. resembles a classic Conan cover.

The 14th--that's right, 14th--poster released by the Weinstein Co. to promote the upcoming Quentin Tarantino revenge movie, Inglourious Basterds, bares a striking resemblance to a composition made famous by fantasy painter Frank Frazetta.

What do you think?

Inglorious Basterds opens August 21st!

This style of poster has been used for years.
Star wars (original "a new hope" poster)
army of darkness
Clint Eastwood's "the gauntlet"
and many many more

It symbolizes a promise to the audience. This movie is going to kick ass, take names(if it has time), and be flat out epic. An arrogant statement, maybe. but a powerful one at that.
I F#CKING LOVE IT
