Synopsis:

In the film, the ultimate struggle for power pits men against kings and kings against gods. But the war between the gods themselves could destroy the world. Born of a god but raised as a man, Perseus (Worthington) is helpless to save his family from Hades (Fiennes), vengeful god of the underworld. With nothing left to lose, Perseus volunteers to lead a dangerous mission to defeat Hades before he can seize power from Zeus (Neeson) and unleash hell on earth. Leading a daring band of warriors, Perseus sets off on a perilous journey deep into forbidden worlds. Battling unholy demons and fearsome beasts, he will only survive if he can accept his power as a god, defy his fate and create his own destiny.

I [frick]ing hate the way MTV don't allow anyone outside of the U.S to watch their vids. Copyright reasons? What, do they think foreigners have [frick]ing microscopic eyeball cameras that will download everything as soon as they see it?

Rorschach, Ummm... you mean you don't lol.

As of Terminator: Salvation, I'm not impressed with Worthington. This movie is a classic, and I don't know anyone who hasn't seen it a dozen times in their youth. So maybe Sam can convince me in this that he is worthy of fan adoration. We'll see... the stunts look pretty crazy in this. I bet the combat will be absolutely brutal, the kind that makes you cringe as you watch.

DDD - 9/5/2009, 2:38 PM
The media restrictions are a pile of poo! That's just not fair! I live in the U.S. and for some of the people of the world to miss out is just criminal!

Well, at least this movie doesn't call for a tall blond actor to play it so Sam's alright for this part. I do believe most Greeks have dark hair. But I just don't see Worthington with the kind of Charisma that Harry Hamlin has! I'll wait and see!

ASSASSIN666
ASSASSIN666 - 9/5/2009, 11:52 PM
Music television, MUSIC retards, not f**king reality shows. It's not RTV, this channel has sucked forever. No wonder the music business is dwindling down to nothing, because the channel that is supposed to support it would rather show f**king teenagers and young adults and all the Tom foolery that follows them. Now that I got that nonsense of my chest, I am looking forward to Clash. I'm a huge fan of the original, but to redo it with today's cgi and with a cast this good, it's a no brainer
TheMyth
TheMyth - 9/6/2009, 1:02 AM
Deadpool, I don't care much for him either, so I'm trying to not let it effect my view of this movie and give him another shot. If he [frick]s this up, I'll avoid things with him in it til the DVD release. I'll probably have finally (and begrudgingly) made the switch to BluRay lol.

Thanks DieHard ;)

Can't really tell much from that... other than the fact that yes, Madds would be a great red skull! But goddamn is Sam's accent ever massive!!! And even if he could change it, i'm not sure i'd like him as Cap. But i'd like to have seen a few lines from the film though. Haven't seen Salvation and he's not very inspiring in the Avatar trailers.

Hell Yeah! Finally some footage. Looks like its gonna be awesome. Hope the CGI is more believable in this movie than the director's version of Hulk. Don't get me wrong, I very much like the new Hulk movie. I just hope Medusa and the Kraken look more like the dinos in Jurassic Park.
They probably could have let Sam's hair grow out a little longer, probably similar to Russell Crowe's in Gladiator. Glad he is not sporting that pile of hair Harry Hamlin was rocking in the original.
But show a teaser trailer already!
theartofoneness
theartofoneness - 9/9/2009, 2:59 PM
lol an appeal for them to do it in stop motion? Theres an example of someone who isnt growing with the times hehe. Honestly CG is far superior than stop motion, its just not looked at in the same light because of its own evolution. It was crappy at first and we knew it but it is getting amazing! the realism they are creativity with it is just shocking and it only gets better.

I think this movie will be amazing and I have a lot more faith in CG creatures these days than I did a few years ago. Now I know they will look good and this movie will be epic. They have learned from all the bad mistakes that have been made and dont plan on making them again. These are just the next set and they will learn from these and improve once again.

The only thing to take to the next level is suspension of disbelief. When we start putting chips into our heads that's one on the top of my list. Suspension of disbelief chip for getting so into the movie or game that I forget about reality, just like a dream :)
