Ezra Miller In Talks To Star In FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM
The rising star is already confirmed to play 'The Flash' in WB's upcoming DC Cinematic Universe, and now he's just entered talks to feature in their Harry Potter spin-off.
It seems we're about to see a whole lot more of Ezra Miller. He's already been cast as 'The Flash' as part the DC Cinematic Universe, and now he looks set to join another huge Warner Bros. property in Harry Potter spin-off, Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them. According to Variety, Miller is in early talks for the role of 'Kredan', a wizard who encounters the film's protagonist, Newt Scamander, while on his travels documenting magical creatures in New York City.
The talented actor joins a cast that so far includes Oscar-winner Eddie Redmayne as Scamander, and Inherent Vice's Katherine Waterston as 'Tina' - one of two female leads. Variety also claim that two other major roles have yet to be cast, with WB closing in on their main targets. Alison Sudol is the favorite to play Tina's younger sister, 'Queenie', while comic actors Josh Gad and Michael Cera are set to meet the studio next week for the role of Scamander's rival, 'Jacob'.
With the DCCU already on his plate (beginning with a cameo in Batman V. Superman next March), Ezra Miller is going to be very busy balancing two major franchises over the next few years. Are you excited to see him feature in the Harry Potter spin-off? Or are you just relieved to hear that Michael Cera is still alive? Be sure to leave your thoughts below!
