While Aquaman will undoubtedly be the headliner tomorrow, Warner Bros.' jam-packed presentation will also be debuting an amazing new trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, which may or may not just end up stealing the show from our underwater Justice Leaguer.

A rough cut of the trailer was shown at CinemaCon earlier this year and was met with much praise as 3x Academy Award-nominee Johnny Depp took center stage as Gellert Grindelwald. Expect plenty of new Dumbledore (Jude Law) footage too as he recruits Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) for an all-new, extremely dangerous mission that will take him and his friends all across Europe.

At the end of the first film, the powerful dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald was captured by MACUSA (Magical Congress of the United States of America), with the help of Newt Scamander. But, making good on his threat, Grindelwald escaped custody and has set about gathering followers, most unsuspecting of his true agenda: to raise wizards and witches up to rule over all non-magical beings.

In an effort to thwart Grindelwald's plans, Albus Dumbledore enlists his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world.

Finally a movie that stars someone who treats others with respect, Johnny Depp.

Should have kept Collin Farrell, especially with the stuff surrounding Johnny Depo. Also, Farrell is just a better actor.

@Tensorpants - I know this is sorta subjective, but the poster is an art nouveau style detailed art print . It definitely isn’t terrible. It’s quite stylish, as far as posters go.

@NoobNoob - No it’s not. Why do you non Harry Potter fans always try to link everything in the franchise back to magic candy? It’s so weird

I always thought it’d be interesting to tell some stories about Harry’s parents being at Hogwarts. Particularly some of the shenanigans that James got into paling around with Lupin, Black, and Pettigrew

The first film was ok, but the woman was really a boring character. Newt was meh. I liked Colin F. and the Luna Lovegood prototype.
I wanna see young Albus, I'm in for the next one.
