X-MEN: FIRST CLASS Actress Zoë Kravitz Joins FANTASTIC BEASTS AND WHERE TO FIND THEM
Even though Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them is nearing release, it's being reported that Mad Max: Fury Road & X-Men: First Class actress Zoë Kravitz has joined the cast.
The Hollywood Reporter has learned that Warner Bros.' upcoming Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them has added Zoë Kravitz in a secret role that has already completed filming.
THR's sources say that Kravitz quietly joined the cast of the David Yates-directed feature shortly after it began production last year and that her role in the first installment will be fairly small, but there is an option in her contract for a return in the sequel with a much larger part. The aforementioned sequel - the second installment in a planned trilogy of films - was dated last week for a November 16, 2018 release.
Kravitz is best known to comic book movie fans for her role as Angel Salvadore a.k.a. Tempest in Matthew Vaughn's X-Men: First Class, as Christina in The Divergent Series, and as Toast the Knowing in George Miller's Mad Max: Fury Road. Her other prominent film roles include Rick Famuyiwa's Dope and M. Night Shyamalan's After Earth. She can be seen next in the HBO series Big Little Lies.
