WaterTower Music has officially announced that the Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald Original Motion Picture Soundtrack will become available to purchase worldwide on November 9, just a week ahead of the film's highly-anticipated theatrical launch.

8x Academy Award-nominated composer James Newton Howard, who also scored Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, returned to score the David Yates-directed sequel. His illustrious career has seen him tackle a wide variety of films from all genres, including three superhero films.

Howard's more prominent credits include, but are not limited to, The Prince of Tides, The Fugitive, Junior, Space Jam, One Fine Day, My Best Friend's Wedding, The Sixth Sense, Dinosaur, Unbreakable, Signs, The Village, Collateral, Batman Begins, King Kong, Michael Clayton, The Dark Knight, Defiance, Salt, The Tourist, Green Lantern, The Hunger Games, Snow White and the Huntsman, The Bourne Legacy, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Maleficent, Nightcrawler, Pawn Sacrifice, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, The Huntsman: Winter's War, A Series of Unfortunate Events (TV), Detroit, and Red Sparrow. In addition to the Fantastic Beasts sequel, he also composed the score for Disney's The Nutcracker and the Four Realms, which hits theaters on November 2.

While the tracklist doesn't contain any obvious spoilers, it does seemingly reveal the general outline of the film, so if you're trying to avoid any sort of spoilers before walking into the theater, then it may be best to avoid it for now.

At the end of the first film, the powerful dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald was captured by MACUSA (Magical Congress of the United States of America), with the help of Newt Scamander. But, making good on his threat, Grindelwald escaped custody and has set about gathering followers, most unsuspecting of his true agenda: to raise wizards and witches up to rule over all non-magical beings.

In an effort to thwart Grindelwald's plans, Albus Dumbledore enlists his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world.

RUMOUR HAS IT: Annihilus is indeed in Avengers, according to Jeremy Conrad over at MCU Cosmic. He broke the Eternals scoop, btw. However, he does say it's only a rumour, but it does allow the title to make so much more God damn sense.

Was the first one any good? Honestly I wrote it off thinking they only exist to cash in on the dying Harry Potter mania
