I remember years ago when the first one came out, I read a review in Empire I think it was that gave it 4 stars so I was like, ok, might be decent I'll give it a watch. So a girl pal of mine put it on one night and I had no objections. About 20 mins in and I swear I thought she must have put a parody version of it on instead or something..I genuinely thought it was supposed to be some kind of comedy. I think it was the exact moment from that fist trailer above when the fan blows on Edward and he shudders, I realized what a crime against cinema had been committed.

Okay, am willing to admitit: I LOVE to Hate these movies! They are so bad, and I love watching parodies and sketches about them. It helps me focus all my repressed violence towards a specific subject, leaving my mind clear for actual important matters in my life.

I couldn't even get through the first film. Not only was it bad, but it was boring too.

How are these films making so much money?

Sure, we're not the demographic but I've seen better films intended for teenage girls.

I completely respect this franchise. We can all say how bad it is, and how much we hate it, but it doesn't change the fact that Twilight Breaking Dawn part 2 just grossed 72 million in one day!

They know their target audience, know what they want and they market to them beautifully. I can think of a lot worse things my daughter could be reading or watching this is for certain!

So, editors get to post articles like this on main that have nothing to do with nothing and take down popular-voted articles like the Hostess article that connects their products' ties to comic books and CBM's. Galactus' policy on user articles making main is getting handled improperly by some editors here. Second time in a couple days a solid user article compared to some editor articles gets taken down from main. Nothing annoys me more than lack of integrity and ethics.

But hey, Twilight was a pretty iffy movie. It had its moments… even if those moments were really short. Really short.

@jingorot Know How I got throughout the first film? saw it as it is. an indy film. It was on a shoestring budget and I like Melissa Rosenberg (She written some of my favorite Dexter episodes, so I know she can write) this was pure paycheck crap, yeah it just grossed alot of money but then again looks like mostly crappy films get high gross(TASM, Twilight Breaking Dawn prt2, Snow white and the huntsman, etc), but some good films Like Skyfall and Wreck-It-Ralph, Avengers, and some other goodies sneak in :) Keep the faith becuase at least we shoudl have soem good movies coming are way.

Hahaha these trailors are so true! Its funny to see people defend them when all you have to do is sit through half an hour of anyone of these movies at any time to know they are the worst piece of film in the history of cinema. Awful in every aspect!
