Kristen Stewart In, Rupert Sanders Out For SNOW WHITE & THE HUNTSMAN Sequel?

After rumors suggesting that she won't be back for Universal's planned Snow White & The Huntsman sequel, Kristen Stewart has reportedly signed on to reprise her role as Snow White. Meanwhile, it appears that director Rupert Sanders won't be involved.

After Universal Pictures' Snow White & The Huntsman grossed nearly $400M at the worldwide box office, a sequel was immediately put into development. Both the involvement of director Rupert Sanders and star Kristen Stewart - who were revealed to be in an affair earlier this year - has been questioned since. There has also been talk of a spin-off starring Chris Hemsworth's Huntsman. Now, we have a new report stating that Stewart will indeed reprise her role as (Queen) Snow White in the sequel. According to Radar Online, Stewart has signed on to play Snow White again, but the site claims that Sanders won't be involved with this project. "The script has already been written and production will begin late next year," a source told the site. "However, Rupert Sanders definitely won't be a part of the project. Rupert didn't want to be a part of it to begin with because he is desperately still trying to save his marriage. The search is still on for a new director." Who would you like to see direct the Snow White & The Huntsman sequel?

The film did feel a little hollow. Maybe the next guy will be able to tell a story a bit better.

sigh...

not everything celebrities do is a PR move. especially not things that affect their image negatively. after all these years of hollywood, is it really that hard to fathom that celebrities can be just plain dumb?

LOL

Out with the director and in the weakest part of the first film yeah that's brilliant. First one was a bore so I wasn't interested in a sequel anyway but with no Queen and this bitch still in the role definitely not interested.

Is anyone surprised? Regardless of the fact that Kristin Stewart couldn't act her way out of a paper bag, she's a hot commodity in the almighty teen demo range. Rupert Sanders, who actually did better than I was expecting with this film, isn't. One of them is going to go, and my guess it would be the one who doesn't have a rabid twi-hard fanbase.

It's been awhile since I've commented on this site, mostly because it's a cesspool of negativity, but in this case I have to come to the defense of Kristen Stewart. No, I'm not a Twi-Hard. To be honest, I'm defending her on behalf of my penis, because, yes, I find her attractive. Does her acting leave something to be desired? Yes. But then that's all subjective anyway. Personally, I feel bad for celebrities who get caught up in incidents like this, ones that if a regular person were involved in them, nobody would really give a damn. This whole incident was none of our business, and I feel sorry for all involved. We like to judge and feel like we're more righteous then these people. But in reality, we're not.

at Optimist18 you have really bad taste in women LOL. really? You feel bad for a girl earning 10 mil for barely acting? wow.

Sarcasm aside, why not just make a movie about the Huntsman. He was the only thing remotely interesting in it anyway.

Optimist18
Optimist18 - 11/19/2012, 7:45 PM
@phoenixforce9 Considering you don't know what other women I'm attracted to, I don't think your assessment holds much value. What I feel bad about is her business being out there for everyone to pick apart. Like they have any right to do so in the first place.

Anyway, everything you said is a matter of opinion anyway. please don't parade yours around like it's the only one.

But thanks for playing.

I hate twilight.. and she was a slut for doing that.. But like Optimist said.. she makes my penis twitch :P

also.. I find it hilarious that grown men need to come to the defense of pattison.. If she wanted some on the side.. who am I to judge.. I just found the whole thing funny and amusing :D

n It's not like pattison has never got any on the side..

The film was awful. The script and the direction are to blame.

But in its defense if SWATH would have been instead of 1937 Disney's Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs there would be a gender fairer society and more efficient anti age creams.
