This November, gear up to reenter the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and meet a whole new set of heroes led by magizoologist Newt Scamander. Warner Bros. has released a magical new featurette for arguably their biggest release of the year - Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them - with author/screenwriter J.K. Rowling and star Eddie Redmayne (The Theory Of Everything) introducing us to the unlikely hero. The two-minute clip also teases some of Newt's magical creatures and sheds some light on the film's plot. Check it out below:
“Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” opens in 1926 as Newt Scamander has just completed a global excursion to find and document an extraordinary array of magical creatures. Arriving in New York for a brief stopover, he might have come and gone without incident…were it not for a No-Maj (American for Muggle) named Jacob, a misplaced magical case, and the escape of some of Newt’s fantastic beasts, which could spell trouble for both the wizarding and No-Maj worlds.
Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them will feature:
Director: David Yates
Eddie Redmayne as Newt Scamander
Katherine Waterston as Tina
Alison Sudol as Queenie
Dan Fogler as Jacob
Ezra Miller as Credence
Samantha Morton as Mary Lou
Jenn Murray as Chastity
Faith Wood-Blagrove as Modesty
Colin Farrell as Graves
Jon Voight in an undisclosed role
Gemma Chan in an undisclosed role
Carmen Ejogo in an undisclosed role
Ron Perlman as a goblin
Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them hits theaters November 18
