A remake of the 1981 film based on the myth of Perseus, Clash of the Titans features the ultimate struggle for power that pits men against kings and kings against gods. But the war between the gods themselves could destroy the world. Born of a god but raised as a man, Perseus (Sam Worthington) is helpless to save his family from Hades (Ralph Fiennes), vengeful god of the underworld.

With nothing left to lose, Perseus volunteers to lead a dangerous mission to defeat Hades before he can seize power from Zeus (Liam Neeson) and unleash hell on earth. Battling unholy demons and fearsome beasts, he will only survive if he can accept his power as a god, defy his fate and create his own destiny.



Clash of the Titans is directed by Louis Leterrier and is set to be released in 3-D on April 2 later this year.

Lee, Neeson does Irish, English and at least he attempts American! Listen back in that trailer to where Perseus says "Someone has to take a stand"...It may as well have been Paul Hogan.

ROR: Yeah, he really needs to do something about it! I never realised Yvonne Strahovski or Rachel Griffiths (off Six Feet Under) were Australian until I saw them in interviews...they're TV stars and Worthington has now become a pretty huge movie star and he STILL cant pull off the right accent, lol!

Ah well, further proof he shouldnt play Captain America! ;D

I am still psyched for this flick and yes its storyline is already different from the original because Hades was not in the original and among other things but this still looks so good. I am willing to overlook its changes. Here's to hoping its not overhyped by the trailer.

That only works for 53% of the population, MPP. That number includes sodomites but doesn't exclude lesbians. Furthermore, most women don't care as much for popcorn action as men do. So if thats the motivation, what demographic are they attempting to reach?

I like an australian accent like any one of you but it just doesn't belong in Captain America's mouth. I mean, you don't see us wanting Gerard Butler for Cap yet he's 20 times the actor that Worthington is.

Lee, Liam Neeson is not a piss spoor actor. Have you never seen Schindlers List, Michael Collins, Lamb, Rob Roy? I agree he does make the odd dodgy movie for the cash but that doesn't mean he's a dodgy actor.

This trailer is epicness defined. I can not wait for this. Greek mythology is one of my favorite things to study, read, and watch on film.

Telavizion, it may not seem like that big a deal in some movies, but it is a HUGE deal in something like this. Hearing Perseus speak with anything other than an English/British type accent then it will be very hard not to be taken out of the movie. Could you imagine if Elijah Wood and Viggo Mortenson had of kept their accents for LOTR?

BTW, LEEE, hear Neeson say "It gets better" (@ 00:40). That's an American accent (or the abscence of one. ;) ) he's doing. He looks and carries himself diffently in A Team than he does as Zeus.
Thats called acting. He's good at it.
Sam Worthington? Not so much.
