I actually got to talk to her about this film when she was filming the Journey 2 movie here in Hawaii. She pretty much said the same things in this interview, mainly about the gun and physical training she had to do. Also.... SO much hotter in person!!!

Sucker Punch and Snyder are getting butchered on Rotten Tomatoes.

"Sucker Punch" is what happens when a studio gives carte blanche to a filmmaker who has absolutely nothing original or even coherent to say."

"It's so bad that the Director's Guild should revoke Snyder's membership and he should never be allowed to direct again."

"Zombie soldiers, dragons, cyborgs, doesn't matter: Snyder is just a big boy with lots of toys. These, unfortunately, include his actresses."

"Zack Snyder's storytelling skills remain in question in his latest CGI spectacular."

...and those are from sources like THR, NYT, SFC, etc.

"In the end, Snyder confuses going ugly for getting serious, and he destroys his movie completely."

Nope...They both were over 60% mark. While that still isn't stellar, Sucker Punch is at 22%. That's pretty bad. I don't generally give a critic much credit, but when it is so overwhelmingly negative from all the critics, one has to pay a little more attention to what is being said.
