The Hollywood Reporter reveals that Warner Bros. has acquired the rights to Bolivar, an upcoming graphic novel (due out in May 2013) by writer and artist Sean Rubin. The story focuses on a young girl named Sybil who moves to New York and attempts to befriend her new neighbour; the last living dinosaur - and somewhat reclusive - Bolivar. Despite her failed attempts to befriend and reintroduce him to the world he hides away from, he soon realises how much she means to him and risks everything for her. Produced by Akiva Goldsman and Kerry Foster Weed Road banner and Archaia Entertainment editor-in-chief Stephen Christy, the animated feature will be written and directed by Kealan O’Rourke.
