With Game Of Thrones winning critical and commercial acclaim, and the beloved fantasy world of J.R.R Tolkien returning to the big screen this year with The Hobbit, it's no surprise that Legendary Entertainment are still eager to get an adaptation of the similarly themed World Of Warcraft video game up and running. Original director Sam Raimi left the project recently, but now Variety report that a new writer has been hired in the form of Charles Leavitt, who has previously penned the fantasy flick The Seventh Son for the studio, and will signal the search for a new director. With so much on Legendary's plate at the moment, it is unlikely we would see the movie before 2014, but still this must make fans of the massively popular MMORPG very happy.
