Despite mostly negative reviews (gaining a mere 28% on Rotten Tomatoes), Paramount's G.I. Joe: Retaliation was a success at the box office. Pushed to a March 2013 release to convert to 3D, the action sequel based on Hasbro's hit franchise has currently grossed $121.6M domestically and $239.2M internationally, adding up to nearly $361M worldwide. This is a higher gross than 2009's G.I. Joe: Rise Of Cobra (which made $302M worldwide). As expected, a third film in the series is currently in the works. While we wait for news on that, Paramount Pictures has officially confirmed the street date for the G.I. Joe: Retaliation Blu-Ray and DVD release. Scheduled for a July 30th debut on home video, the sequel will be released on digital platforms two weeks prior, July 16th. Below are the cover art for the Blu-Ray and the bonus features.
