Despite mostly negative reviews (gaining a mere 28% on Rotten Tomatoes), Paramount's G.I. Joe: Retaliation was a success at the box office. Pushed to a March 2013 release to convert to 3D, the action sequel based on Hasbro's hit franchise has currently grossed $121.6M domestically and $239.2M internationally, adding up to nearly $361M worldwide. This is a higher gross than 2009's G.I. Joe: Rise Of Cobra (which made $302M worldwide). As expected, a third film in the series is currently in the works. While we wait for news on that, Paramount Pictures has officially confirmed the street date for the G.I. Joe: Retaliation Blu-Ray and DVD release. Scheduled for a July 30th debut on home video, the sequel will be released on digital platforms two weeks prior, July 16th. Below are the cover art for the Blu-Ray and the bonus features. Enjoy the movie (albeit I was drunk). But I don't quite understand why Duke is on the side of the blu ray.

Forget RT. They hate this kind of movie.
It really was a vast improvement over the last one. Unfortunately, it had to spend time cleaning up that mess and prolly wasn't as good as it could've been.

Get the same creative team for #3 and I'll be there.
