G.I. JOE: RETALIATION Rumored To Have Early Premiere In The UK
We all know that the official release date for the Jon Chu-directed film is set for March. However, fans over in the UK may get a chance to see it early according to a twitter post from UK Film Premieres. Hit the jump for the details...
A follow-up to the 2009 release of G.I. Joe: The Rise Of Cobra, which grossed over $300M worldwide, Paramount Pictures, MGM and Skydance Productions, in association with Hasbro and di Bonaventura Pictures, commences production on G.I. Joe: Retaliation. In this sequel, the G.I. Joes are not only fighting their mortal enemy Cobra; they are forced to contend with threats from within the government that jeopardize their very existence.
While it isn't official via Paramount (take it with a grain of salt), a recent post from Twitter indicates that UK G.I. Joe fans will get to experience the film a little early, along with some special guest stars from the film attending the premiere. Check out the tweet below:
G.I. Joe: Retaliation stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Bruce Willis, Channing Tatum, Adrianne Palicki, D.J. Cotrona, Ray Stevenson, Byung-hun Lee and Ray Park. The film, which is directed by Jon Chu, is set to blast into theaters March 29th, 2013.
