Paramount has announced that Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins is set to kick off this Summer’s Comic-Con@Home online event on July 21 with a Special Cast Panel and 10 Fans First Premiere Screenings across the U.S. and Canada.

The studio has also revealed that the full trailer for the movie will be online this coming Monday, and we have some exciting new footage of Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow, Baroness, Scarlett, Hard Master and Blind Master in action via these page-to-screen character promos.

"A tenacious loner is welcomed into an ancient Japanese clan called the Arashikage after saving the life of their heir apparent. Upon arrival in Japan, the Arashikage teach Snake Eyes the ways of the ninja warrior while also providing something he’s been longing for: a home. But, when secrets from his past are revealed, Snake Eyes’ honor and allegiance will be tested – even if that means losing the trust of those closest to him."

Star Andrew Golding will be joined by Andrew Koji (Fast & Furious 6) as Storm Shadow, Samara Weaving (Ready or Not) as Scarlett, Úrsula Corberó (The Secret Life of Pets) as Baroness, and Iko Uwais (The Raid) as Hard Master. The movie is directed by Robert Schwentke.

We recently found out that the G.I. Joe Origins movie has been pushed up from its original October release, and will now hit theaters on July 23.

This is coming out NEXT MONTH and we are only getting the first trailer next week (if we don't count the 1-min "trailer" from last month).

Such late marketing is almost never a good sign.

This is flop really bad.

So they got Iko Uwais, and they still managed to make that clip look boring? Impressive

Who at the studio is such a Ferg fan??? Lmao with this song.

Something about this movie seems painfully bland.

@BlackBeltJones - Don't worry. This flick has a great crew behind it to get you pumped. It's directed by the guy who directed R.I.P.D. and the last two Divergent sequels. Plus, it's written by the guy who wrote The Huntsman: Winter's War, the Disney Beauty and the Beast remake and The Unholy. Finally, it's also co-written by the husband and wife duo who wrote The Aftermath, Seberg and the recent adaptation of Rebecca.

*Safe hands!*

So far, I already like this cast WAY better than the previously two.

All the comic strips of 🐍 👀 in his mask. Transition to live action and all the shots of him without the mask.

Sayyyyyy whaaaaaaaaaaaaa?

@IronGenesis - this is an origin movie. If he doesn't lose his voice and wear a mask by the end of the movie then have a moan.

Man, that Baroness is a miss, visually. Such an iconic look that would be easy to do. Here she looks like Velma.

gotta love these motion trailers with the bad rap that lead up to him wearing the helmet for a second then all the action is no helmet. same with storm shadow. get a clue paramount.

Baroness looks hot as hell. That’s the only positive thing I can say about this movie.

Hope they don't blow it with this one. It would be nice to get at least one good GI Joe live action movie.
