Director Kevin Smith is hoping to soon cast Kato in his Green Hornet movie. Smith told his own News Askew site that he’d like to bring in Zhang Ziyi (Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon) for the role. Jet Li has often been talked of for the part but that was years ago when the idea of reviving the ‘40s crimefighter first surfaced.

Smith wants to cast Jake Gyllenhaal as the Green Hornet.
