Apparently Warner Bros. Has Found Their New GREEN LANTERN
Before you get too exited, we don't actually know who it is, but Latino Review's El Mayimbe reckons the studio has settled on a new actor to play Green Lantern in the DC Cinematic Universe. Which Lantern will it be? The safe bet is John Stewart. More past the jump.
We're not gonna make too much of this, but just so you're aware that Green Lantern casting news may be imminent, here's the latest from El Mayimbe via his Instagram account.
"In brightest day, in blackest night, no evil shall escape my sight!" Well, according to sources, I'm hearing Warners has finally found their GREEN LANTERN! This scoop is kicking my butt though because I can't get the name...yet. Still trying to bag it. Thought I would share it with you guys. Back to the hunt & good night!
When asked if he knew which Green Lantern it'd be, he replied that it was a part Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson originally passed on, so he assumes it's John Stewart. That would back up some previous rumors we've heard anyway, but now the question is, who has nabbed the role? Hopefully Mayimbe finds out and gives us an update soon, but for now feel free to speculate away in the usual place.
