Dear Roadshowies,

Green Lantern has been moved to August 11.

While we do try our best to answer everyone's questions we too try to maintain the harmony on the wall where we are showcasing other films.

Posts concerning the Green Lantern release date on the wall will unfortunately have to be removed, so kindly please raise your questions in the discussion board.

Thanks for your understanding.
The Roadshow Team.

so now instead of a August 4th Release Date be have to wait one more week

As one of 2011's most anticipated movies, Green Lantern has been critically slaughtered by reviewers, having not seen it yet, i shall reserve judgement, although i know i am gonig to be dissapointed.

You will be disappointed but it's not as bad as the critics make it. Like it doesn't deserve a 20% rating from rotten tomatoes, a 45-50% rating would be more fair.

But it was still pretty horrible.

ya definitely not as bad as the 20% made it out to be. the movie just had a lot of expectations rather than being something like F4 where you expected it to be trash.

urgh most pointless decision ever. already we have a 2 month wait in Australia from the international release date, this is just salt in the wound. Really, the die hard fans are going to find some other way to watch the movie instead of waiting, regardless of all the bad reviews. Frick you Roadshow!

I hope they are delaying it so they have time to put in the good parts.

Roadshow delays Green Lantern?!? Damn. Green Lantern should have starred Rodney Dangerfield because this movie is getting no respect.

@Grimlock20; agree - word on the net is the theatrical is WB's version with back story removed and not Martin Campbells take.

Bring on a Directors Cut!
