Jean-Marc Vallée as The Director
If we're going for an entire Corps movie in which serious character development will be needed I see no better choice than Jean Marc who has a history of character driven films with Dallas Buyers Club and Wild starring Matthew McConaughey and Reese Witherspoon respectively. I think Vallée as a director will be able to get the most out of our characters interacting with each other which will definitely be what DC is going for with them already nabbing David Ayer for Suicide Squad. If they need someone to make the audience feel at home with these already established characters then Vallée is definitely the right fit for the director's chair.

Voices of the Guardians of the Universe
Originally from the planet Maltus, the race that would become the Guardians was one of the first races of intelligent life in the universe. Evolving quickly, they developed a society devoted to knowledge and science, often involving themselves in experiments on other planets. One of the Maltusians, Krona, engaged in a forbidden experiment to witness the creation of the universe. Though his fellows attempted to stop him, the damage had been done and the universe was splintered, causing the creation of the Multiverse, as well as the Antimatter universe Qward. The Maltusians relocated to Oa and dedicated themselves to destroying the evil and rescuing the universe from chaos. To this end, they eventually harnessed the Glow to create the Central Power Battery and ultimately the Green Lantern Corps. Later divisions in the group saw the creation of the Zamarons, the Controllers, and the Mesopotamian Gods

Alan Rickman as the voice of Appa Ali Apsa
Appa Ali Apsa, a.k.a. "The Old Timer" and/or "The Mad Guardian," is one of the immortal Guardians of the Universe, creators of the lawkeeping Green Lantern Corps.

Peter Weller as the voice of Basilus
A Guardians who's taken a name in order to brings the Guardians closer to the Corps. Mostly known for a neutral stance and attempting to bring the Guardians to an agreement.

Christopher Walken as the voice of Broome Bon Baris
Broome Bon Baris is one of the few Guardians of the Universe that has taken a name. Notable for wanting the decisions of the Guardians to be unanimous.

James Woods as the voice of Dawlakispokpok
Dawlakispokpok left his fellow Guardians and raised a family with his Zamaron wife. Together they attempted to rewrite history and destroy Krona before he could unleash evil upon the universe.

Kathleen Turner as the voice of Dennep
A Female Guardian, with attributes closer to a mother she is a very wise and warming person, She is completely in tune with the Ideas her other Brothers and sisters carry.

Brian Blessed as the voice of Ganthet
Ganthet is one of the Guardians of the Universe. However, where most of the Guardians are very stern 'by-the-book' characters, Ganthet has a personality that is more human-like, including displays of empathy and concern for an individual, instead of only thinking of the Green Lantern Corps. In various DC crossover limited series, Ganthet is shown as being part of the Quintessence, a group of near-omnipotent beings who oversee the results of what happens on Earth. Although he has been portrayed as looking alike to the other Guardians, Ganthet is often distinguished by tying his hair into a long ponytail, as the other male Guardians have shorter, unkempt hair.

Michael Ironside as the voice of Herupa Hando Hu
Herupa Hando Hu was one of the original Guardians of the Universe, born on the planet Maltus over five billion years ago. These Maltusians left their home world millions of years ago when they chose to undertake the commitment of protecting the universe. They relocated to the planet Oa and established themselves as the self-appointed Guardians of the Universe. With his brothers, Herupa was instrumental in the establishment of the Manhunter robot squads as well as their successors, the Green Lantern Corps.

Sharon Stone as the voice of Lianna
A New Guardians, appointed after Rayner's Induction into the Corps. She sees Rayner as a Peer and is very respectful of the Lanterns.

Alec Baldwin as the voice of Pazu Pinder Pol
Pazu Pinder Pol was a member of the immortal Guardians of the Universe who were stationed at Oa where they directed their actions at bringing order to the cosmos. As such, he was one of the many Guardians in charge of overseeing their enforcers; the Green Lantern Corps in their duties.

Val Kilmer as the voice of Ranakar
Ranakar is, or was, a member of the Guardians of the Universe and a Maltusian. Little to nothing is known of Ranakar's personal history, except that he is a Guardian of the Universe that had taken a name.
John Glover as the voice of Valorex
A Guardians of the Universe, very set in his ways but more accepting of ideas than Ranakar.

Amanda Tapping as the voice of Sayd
One of the few female members of the organization. Sayd's sensibilities were more in line with those of Ganthet, himself, a Guardian known for his non-traditional mindset.

Kate Mulgrew as the voice of Scar
An Elder Guardian very spiteful of her peer's views when they cross her own. She is very strict and has a deep seated anger cause by her scarring.

John Krasinski as Hal Jordan
With the ability to overcome great fear and harness the power of will, test-pilot Hal Jordan was chosen to be the Green Lantern of Sector 2814 inheriting the ring of the dying alien Green Lantern, Abin Sur. Through sheer will power and determination, Hal has established an impressive record of heroism across the galaxy with the help of his fellow Green Lanterns as well as his peers in the JLA.

Reason for Casting: Krasinski is an indie darling, starring in such films as Big Miracle, Nobody Walks, and Away We Go. Not all his films have received great reviews but his performances have mostly been praised and in the hands of a director like Vallée I feel he could go from an unknown to superstar similar to what the director did for Matthew McConaughey who was previously seen as an actor not to be taken seriously.

Omar Sy as John Stewart
Formerly an architect, social activist, and U.S. Marine sniper, John Stewart was selected by the Guardians of the Universe to be one of the Green Lanterns for Sector 2814. His distinguished service in the Corps has resulted in a place among the Oan Honor Guard and the position of chief trainer for new Lantern recruits.

Reason for Casting: Sy is such an overlooked actor these days. His biggest exposure arguably came when he portrayed Bishop in Bryan Singer's X-Men:Days of Future Past. That aside he's appeared in the award winning film The Intouchables and even had a stint alongside Star-Lord in one of the highest grossing films ever in Jurassic World. Sy has proven he's a worthy actor and then some and with WB's tendency to recruit more unknown actor I get the feeling they wouldn't wait to cash in on this opportunity and get Omar as one of the most recognizable members of the Justice League.

Eric Bana as Guy Gardner
Guy Gardner started out as the backup Green Lantern for Hal Jordan. He has since become one of the most prominent Green Lanterns of the Corps, despite possessing an egocentric personality. He has recently deserted his Green Power Ring in favor of the Red Ring of rage. Guy's will and rage are some of the most impressive in the entire Emotional Spectrum.

Reason for Casting: Ideally the villain of a film like this, Bana has proven his acting prowess with appearances in films such as Mary and Max, Star Trek, The Castle and Lone Survivor. I could definitely see Bana portraying the egotistical madman that became of Gardner, eventually taking on the Green Lantern Corps for his own selfish gain despising the heroes such as Jordan and Stewart and even taking leadership from the likes of Sinestro. I chose Gardner as the main villain because I feel he could be compelling enough as a character to court the entire GL Corps to try and defeat him and ultimately drawing people closer and also severing ties. If this goes how I think Vallée would do it then the Corps are not the same after his defeat.

Emilia Clarke as Carol Ferris/Star Sapphire
Carol used to be a pilot, but, after her father retired, she gave it up to run the family business (Ferris Air, a company in Coast City that makes aircraft). She hired her childhood friend, Hal Jordan, as a test pilot. Soon after Hal became a Green Lantern, Carol found herself possessed by a Star Sapphire gem. The gem gave her power, but also altered her personality when used. After the formation of the Star Sapphire Corps however, Carol has been able to remain herself and act as a hero. The Green Lanterns would seek her knowledge on Gardner's actions at one point in the film.

Reason for Casting: Emilia is simply one of the best actresses working today and it shows in her performances in Game of Thrones and even the train wreck that was Terminator:Genisys. I had her in my original GL fancast in which I considered the possibility that this would be an origin story. Even though it seems it won't pan out that way there's no reason as to why Clarke still wouldn't be able to do the role especially considering the age difference between her and Krasinski is excusable at best.

Kevin Grevioux as Kilowog
Kilowog is a high-ranking officer and drill instructor of the Green Lantern Corps, responsible for teaching and mentoring newly recruited Lanterns. The last surviving member of his planet Bolovax Vik, his entire family is deceased. Most distinctively, he refers to all of his trainees as "Poozers." Kilowog is arguably the most detailed and fleshed out secondary Green Lantern Corps member.

Reason for Casting: Grevioux has shown he has more than enough ability to be a force in Hollywood with his intimidating frame and his deep voice he is the perfect choice for Kilowog if they make the right decision and choose to use motion-capture for his performance. Kevin has appeared in many high profile films mainly as a side character such as Underworld, Planet of the Apes, and I, Frankenstein.

Evan Rachel Wood as Boodikka
At three centuries of age, the warrior Boodikka of the planet Bellatrix was originally recruited by the sphere-like Chaselon of Barrio III to join the then-reconstituted Green Lantern Corps. Not long before, Boodikka had belonged to something called the Bellatrix Bombers, a group of female mercenaries for hire by to clear the spaceways of hostile forces. Upon joining the Green Lantern Corps, she fought alongside Hal Jordan but was mortally wounded in battle and survived in the vacuum of space attempting to relocate Oa. She had a interior conflict on whether to join the Lanterns once again in battle or to turn against them as she felt betrayed.

Reason for Casting: I'm borrowing from myself once again here (Seth MacFarlane does it) and saying Rachel Wood would make an amazing Boodikka especially if they shift the focus on her character more as I always thought she was interesting and could always cause conflict for Jordan and the rest of the Corps instead of being that person fighting alongside the main character as the general audience might view her or even other secondary characters.

Britt Robertson as Jade
Daughter of the original Green Lantern and the psychotic Rose Thorn, Jenny Hayden became the superheroine known as Jade. She became the Green Lantern of Sector 2814 for a time while powerless. She is the daughter of the Golden Age Green Lantern Alan Scott and Rose Canton. After giving birth to Jade and her brother Todd (who would later become Obsidian), the two were given up for adoption as Rose (at times a dangerous vigilante) was afraid she would harm them.

Reason for Casting: Robertson impressed fans and critics alike in the not-so-stellar blockbuster film Tomorrowland which received mixed-to-negative reviews but it did prove Robertson's star could definitely shine and she's barely even got her feet wet as far as Hollywood is concerned.  With Mother and Child still on her resume moving forward she has her pick of movies to be in and I could definitely see her as Jade.

Nina Dobrev as Droxelle
The Green Lantern of Space Sector 3411, Droxelle once made a mistake that cost innocent lives and was suspended from the Corps. She came back from her suspension with a renewed sense of dedication, vowing to never make a mistake like that while performing her duties again. Recently, she's taken a young Lantern recruit named Horoq Nnot as her protege, worried that Horoq was too much like her when she'd first started out.

Reason for Casting: Say what you will about Vampire Diaries, Dobrev has proven herself to be nothing but talented on that show and it even shows in her film roles which include Away From Her and Perks of Being a Wallflower. Dobrev continues to prove she's a good actor and with a director like Jean-Marc behind the camera I don't think it would take long for her talent to be recognized and used to full potential.

Powers Boothe as Tomar Re
Tomar Re was working as a scientist on his homeworld Xudar, when he was approached by the Guardians Of The Universe who wanted him to become one of their Green Lanterns. Tomar became an important member of the Corps as he trained numerous recruits and served as a member of the honor guard. A Xudarian and former Green Lantern of Space Sector 2813. He is Hal Jordan's mentor in pre-Crisis continuity.

Reason for Casting: Regarded as an actor with one of the most distinctive voices in cinema history, Boothe has been in major movies such as Sin City, Nixon, Red Dawn, Tombstone and Southern Comfort while also being known for his roles in television shows such as Deadwood, 24 and Nashville. Boothe with his massive filmography could play this role with ease and bring esteem to one of the original Green Lanterns.

Desiree Akhavan as Arin Sur
Sister of Abin Sur, late wife of Sinestro, mother of Soranik Natu and aunt of Amon Sur. Arin Sur of the planet Ungara was the sister of the legendary Green Lantern Abin Sur and the late wife of the renegade Green Lantern Sinestro. They had a child together, who they were forced to give up for adoption, named Soranik Natu, who would eventually become a Green Lantern in her own right. While they were still together, Sinestro had made the decision to impose his will on his home planet of Korugar.

Reason for Casting: Akhavan is an experienced actor, writer and director with her own film Appropriate Behavior. She has shown she is a good actor and could definitely be convincing as Sinestro's former wife and mother of Soranik. Ideally, she would get a good amount of screen time with a good chunk of the first act focusing on her relationship with Sinestro.

Amber Midthunder as Soranik Natu
Dr. Soranik Natu is a highly skilled surgeon from the planet Korugar. She was selected to become a Green Lantern and has had to overcome her peoples' hate of the Green Lanterns; the hate her father, Thaal Sinestro, created during his time as Korugar's Green Lantern. Because of that, she was initially very reluctant to join the Corps, but has since come to see it's value. Her sector partner is Iolande of Betrassus. She had a romantic relationship with fellow Corps member Kyle Rayner for a time.

Reason for Casting: Midthunder is very much a starting actress with few roles of memory but her stints in films such as Spare Parts, Gaming, and the show Longmire. Midthunder has established herself as a serviceable actress and under Jean's direction I think she could turn in a great performance. Midthunder is really ready for her breakout performance and with WB going for more unknown actors I think Midthunder is the best choice.

Kimiko Glenn as Katma Tui
Before her death, Katma Tui was the Green Lantern of Sector 1417. Hailing from the plant Korugar, she was Thal Sinestro's successor and had to deal with her people's deep mistrust of Green Lanterns after all of her predecessor's many crimes. She served in the Corps a long time and distinguished herself for her bravery and ability on many occasions. She and fellow Lantern, John Stewart of Earth, were married.

Reason for Casting: Glenn is known for her esteemed work on the hit show Orange is the New Black and that stardom is bound to have her as a shoe-in for future roles. I figured playing opposite Omar Sy would be more than enough of a start before she gets more limelight in the future of the DCEU as she is considered a underrated actress and deserves her break just as much as the next person. She can without a doubt bring humanity to the role.

Hugh Dancy as Thaal Sinestro
One of the greatest Green Lanterns there ever was, Sinestro was corrupted by power and banned from the Green Lantern Corps by the Guardians of the Universe. Upon achieving his ultimate goal of exposing and bringing justice to the corruption of the Guardians, Sinestro has relegated himself to self-exile as penance for the many actions and sins he has committed over time in order to save anyone else from participating and therefore sharing in his guilt. He currently controls Parallax, the fear entity.

Reason for Casting: Despite Sinestro not being my ideal main villain for the Green Lantern Corps film I would want him to make an appearance at the least. Establish that he has been banished from the Green Lantern Corps and is on his own and possibly trying to start up the Sinestro Corps. Ideally he would be seen corrupting an already demented Guy Gardner in Emperor Palpatine fashion. Dancy is my choice because we know he's a very solid actor, could pull off the look with ease and in my opinion could topple Mark Strong's decent portrayal.

Thank you for viewing once again and for your dedication you can now watch Batman eat a cookie.

or if you don't want that then here have this one

@UltimateCookie

Wow a great fancast and gave me some information on characters that I knew little about.

Also each choice is well justified and well thoughtout.

Glad that you picked Eric Bana in a role as he has always been my pcik for Solid Snake in a live action Metal Gear Movie, and I have used him before in my Fancasts.

Also Emilia Clarke needs a Comic Book role soon.

Even though i Liked your pick for John Stewart my choice is always Omari Hardwick

Pretty solid. I like the director and his work a lot, but I'm not convinced he could deliver on a project such as this.

Krasinski for Hal is a great choice, would love to see that happen.

Omar Sy is a great actor and very much looks the part, but if JS is supposed to be American (like in the comics), I'm not too sure he could do a solid enough accent.

I'm not too sold on Clarke for Ferris, she looks the part as she's a great actor on GoT, but she's been somewhat questionable in some of her other work. I have a feeling it would turn into another Blake Lively-situation where's she's not bad, but not really good either. I'd rather see someone like Emily Blunt (Krasinski's wife), Alison Brie or Anna Kendrick in the role. Or even Lake Bell, she's a great actress.

I'm not too sure about Hugh Dancy either. Plus, "Mark Strong's decent portrayal"? Best thing about that awful movie, and if they can't bring him back, I really don't know who could top his portrayal.

I'm more or less indifferent to your other picks, could be good, could be bad, who knows. Great fancast though, even though you have a tendency to sometimes include so many unnecessary minor characters at once. It might be a better idea to just stick to the main cast.

I like all your picks for the GL members. But where is Kyle? I've been saying for years Eric Bana needs another shot at a comic book movie. John Krasinski was always my pick for Barry Allen, but having him as Hal would be cool too. If you go that route I'd take out Emilia Clarke with Emily Blunt. The reason should be easy to see why. If if not it's because they're married and will have great chemistry on screen together.

I like how you picked great choices for the Gaurdians. Alan Rickman would be great, Christopher Walken would be great too. You really picked some great choices. Now I'll dissapointed if the cast isn't as great as yours.

- John Krasinski as Hal is a tough one.
- How about an African-American for the role of John?
- Okay, Eric Bana is FAR too old to play Guy Gardner. My picks would be Jensen Ackles or Chris Pratt.
- Can't really shit on Emilia as Carol Ferris. Neat picture!
- Suitable Kilowog. I'm into Vin Diesel after the Fast & Furious movies. That's my choice for my own DC cinematic universe.
- Britt Robertson might be more suitable for Arisa Raab.
- Thank God someone isn't afraid to use Nina Dobrev. Like you said, the girl has chops when the material's right, basically when she's playing Katherine Pierce. Unfortunately, I know little of the character you cast her as, so I can't determine anything 100% if you cast right or wrong.
- Powers Boothe's voice doesn't seem right for Tomar-Re.
- Never heard of the next three actresses. Might be good, it doesn't hurt to use unknown actors.
- Honestly I can't see Hugh Dancy as Sinestro. Maybe as a Batman villain like Scarecrow or Riddler.

I love John Krasinksi as Hal! Great choice

However I would prefer Duncan Jones to direct Lantern Corps

I really love this cast!
Although I'm not sold on Emilia Clarke as Carol,
She has a very young face and she's quite short, a good action actress but alongside Krasinskinas Hal she could feel out of place

@BlackIceJoe Never cared for Rayner as a character honestly but he has a fanbase. Too many main Earth Lanterns could be overkill especially with Rayner's power he could overshadow the team dynamic. He could totally be introduced in a sequel or whatever and I actually had him cast in my phone notes with Zac Efron if you were curious. Could change though.

John Krasinski as Hal Jordan is ... interesting. Not really my ideal choice, but I guess I can see why you chose him. He's got that same kind of "everyman charm" Hal sometimes has. I think he'd be a much better Barry Allen, but y'know, to each his own...

I really like Emilia Clarke as Carol Ferris though.

Very interesting cast, admittedly not too keen on all them but gotta say really find Dancy as Sinestro interesting though Mads Mikklesen does look more the part... Anyway, stay tuned for my take on this series- hopefully it'll be half as good as yours!

Grevioux also has some experience with characters from the Big Two--he voiced Solomon Grundy on The Batman, Black Beetle on Young Justice, and Terrax on The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

Well I can deal with this, lookin' good bro.

Only one I REALLY don't like is Guy Gardner, he's my fav DC character and cannot see Bana playing him at all, needs to be younger as well. But overall love it, love to see this on the big screen.

Thumbs.
