Green Lantern Screen Test - Tom Kalmaku

Kenneth Moraleda of the Australian comedy/drama "Lucky Miles" does a screen test for the role of Hal Jordan's side kick Tom Kalmaku. In the first draft of The Green Lantern script, which was leaked last year, the character served as comic relief. In this screen test footage Moraleda gives us two takes of Tom Kalmaku, one serious, the other comedic. The video was submitted to Green Lantern's casting director Pam Dixon.

The 2nd one is a bit more over the top and attempted to play for laughs..a bit like if he were in a Bay movie!

Hes good though, or decent anyway. Is this Tom guy in the comics? If not, oh [frick]

ok watched it. 2 things 1. a point break sequel with jan de bont? wtf? and 2. i say we hire the guy off screen reading lines. hes awesome.

First of all I'm glad to read some new news about this movie, I love GL so much I'm in fear this movie sinks.
Btw: the actor is just perfect for PieFace, Hal Jordan's friend and the only one on Earth to know his true identity as Green Lantern (well besides Flash and the other JLers)
PieFace is not intended to be a sidekick in the sense Robin is, he is more a Hal Jordan's real life Sidekick/Friend than a Green Lantern one.
