In Depth Video Report From The Set Of Green Lantern!

Collider's Frosty along with Peter from Slashfilm, have recorded a near hour long report on their visit to the set of Green Lantern, talking in-depth about everything they saw and their impressions of the movie...

Hal Jordan is a gifted and cocky test pilot, but the Green Lanterns have little respect for humans, who have never harnessed the infinite powers of the ring before. But Hal is clearly the missing piece to the puzzle, and along with his determination and willpower, he has one thing no member of the Corps has ever had: humanity. With the encouragement of fellow pilot and childhood sweetheart Carol Ferris, if Hal can quickly master his new powers and find the courage to overcome his fears, he may prove to be not only the key to defeating Parallax...he will become the greatest Green Lantern of all.

The only thing that caught my eye on the lust was test footage of Anthony Hopkins voicing Tomar Re!!! Interesting!

if it where real, with real acting and not just head shots covered in CGI and the computers green filter, we could of maybe had a real GL movie. the world my never know.

I'm extremely excited to see the movie, but I don't expect to be surprised at all. It is basically a combination of Green Lantern Emerald Dawn with Parallax instead of Legion.

I really want to like this movie. Im just very turned off about how fake the uniforms look. it has a very syfy channel look to it. im sure it will be better on the big screen but then again its warner brothers

@dirtyfarmkid

They just finished shooting the modern day bookend sequences for Captain America a couple of weeks ago. I would expect that they are going to be working on finishing the movie up until mid June. I would expect to get a new trailer at the end of June or beginning of July.

This movie will be Epic. It'll be one of the better Super hero movies. Will it top Dark knight? No. No super hero movie will. The Dark Knight Rises has the potential, but it wont. Will it top Iron Man? I am a firm believer. Why? Simply because of....MARTIN CAMPBELL!!
the director of Goldeneye and Casino Royale!! What's not to love? He's a legend people.

wow a very honest feedback of their set visit,I felt like the collider guy was quite sold out but the slashfilm guy is having his concerns and when they voiced it out I too understand that GL is having a huge challenge in front of it unlike THOR,CAPTAIN AMERICA,X MEN or COWBOYS AND ALIENS.

the 3D issue is there,I will watch mine in 2D unless the reviews say 3D stuff is good,and most importantly like they pointed out the general audience will they respond to this movie which has lot of alien aspects in it.While there are key human characters in this there are also several key alien characters in this(sinestro,tomar re etc),so it will be interesting to see if people of all age groups respond to this.Also the slashfilm guy had his doubts about the 3rd act,I hope it was because they didn't want to reveal about it too much even to these guys.Those will be the biggest challenges in front of this movie.if all these issues come out fine in the end I think this movie should do well.

the effects for me specially in the new trailers looks good(it was bad in the November trailer but for me it improved dramatically later and now looks great)but again unlike all other CBMs coming or came this year the CGI % is huge in GL,so it's definitely tough path ahead for GL.

I think like they said WB should be thanked for their effort because they are not looking for an easy way.They are 100% going for it with big budgets and all that,so they are definitely trying to give something special and unseen unfelt experience to movie audience.

I will be there on the opening day to check this out(I'm impressed with what I have seen so far)and hopefully the people will support this irrespective been a MARVEL fan or a DC fan because it's something new,something different and before passing judgment it's always better to watch a product and then decide if the attempt was good or not.

how are people complaining about the spiderman suit when the green lantern's is just as off and was made entirely on the computer. has ryan ever been in a GL suit? at least Andrew will look the part.
