New (Low-Res) Green Lantern TV Spot "One of Us, Becomes One of Them"

In a universe as vast as it is mysterious, a small but powerful force has existed for centuries. Protectors of peace and justice, they are called the Green Lantern Corps. A brotherhood of warriors sworn to keep intergalactic order, each Green Lantern wears a ring that grants him superpowers. But when a new enemy called Parallax threatens to destroy the balance of power in the Universe, their fate and the fate of Earth lie in the hands of their newest recruit, the first human ever selected: Hal Jordan.


Unfortunately we only have the low-res version for now but it's still pretty cool, check back later and hopefully we'll have the high-res version.

Good place to put a new GL spot on, I've noticed Thor trailers on Nick a lot as of recently. I have a feeling both of those movies will do the best, but ya never know.

I agree. And Nitpicking is exactly what their doing. Green Lantern Is definatly going to be one of the heavy hitters this summer. Said it before and Ill say it againg, I wont be surprised if its the most successful. Lets face it the general public knows him better than Thor. And dont give me that "Thors in mythology" crap. Most people out there dont know shit about mythology. And cap looks mediocre as hell lol!
We have ourselves a war now fellas. Marvel Vs DC has finally begun.
Ill take my stand with DC.

no seriously who the [frick] is in charge of the soundtrack for this movie? The past two trailers had a lack of impact cause the music had very limited relation to the action.

the trailer changd my thoughts quite a bit (the recent 1), still have mixd opinions about Reynolds, but im hopeful 4 the movie now

Yeah Xenix, and it's always gonna look bad, it'll never be good enough for you. Every damn GL thread you b*tch about the cgi, we get it. Why don't you go to WB and show them how it's done? Show them how to do good cgi, because you obviously know everything there is to know about it. We'll wait for your report.

I'm pretty sure they are just now working on the soundtrack for the movie. So they probably don't have much ready for the movie just quite yet. Could be wrong, though. James Newton Howard is doing it, so I have a feeling it'll be pretty sweet.

HellsHammer- I think it'll be either Thor or Gl that will be the most successful. But X-Men has been around awhile, so I could see it doing just as well.

As long as they're all good movies, I'll be a happy nerd. :D

the new footage was an amazing improvement over the first trailer.

-mark strong as sinestro looks like his gonna be the money shot.

-parallax looked good

-oa looked good

-nice assortment of aliens

-still not sure about ryan reynolds

-hal jordan costume has improved,but its still not great

-blake lively she is the weak link to this movie

overall a massive improvement.

Yes, judging CGI from a poor quality video is perfectly rational.

You could probably hear a trailer come on TV in another room with brand new footage and you'd still say, "CGI still looks bad."

How many times have we heard the "Requiem for a Dream" music in trailers? This was a quick TV spot, much like the Transformers one, and the music fit the way it was cut and it fit the purpose of the spot itself: make the movie look exciting and cool. Simple as that. Don't really know why it even matters in any way.
