IMDb, the only movie site out there with more user submitted fan castings than CBM, has updated their Green Lantern movie page with a surprising addition.

Actor Eric Johnson is listed as being a rumored candidate to portray fan favorite Green Lantern Guy Gardner in the live action film. Johnson is most known for his role of Flash Gordon on the SyFy channel.

In comics mythology, Guy Gardner was one of three candidates selected to protect Space Sector 2814 in the Green Lantern Corps when Abin Sur crash landed on Earth and sent his ring to seek out a successor. Though just as worthy as Hal Jordan to wield the ring, he was further from Sur's crash site and therefore not chosen.

Yea, I like this cast. His character Whitney on Smallville was a pretty big dick. And he halfway looks the part. Could have a stronger jaw

@multi thats hella cool. Is it just me? Or is it the more this site gets more known and more members there happens to be a select few. A select few that happen to be assh### who dont have faith in companies like marvel and dc. Even though they are slowly proving themselves to be more trusting when it comes to casting. Not to mention complete douchebags who just complaing about everything who have probably only wikipedia comics and the characters we discuss. I mean I got in a fight with an a hole at my job. the one who said Iron man 2 looked horrible who didnt know anything about him except for some cartoons he had seen. its like those kinds of douches are coming out the wood work.

I think I am the only guy on the planet liked him as Flash Gordan. I just hated Ming he is suppose to look Asian, If they gave him Guy I would be ok with that they just need to give him a dye job to look like a ginger. He looks youthful like Ryan Reynolds and its hard to pen point an age on him so he would be good for several movies filmed years apart.

I think Bradley Cooper is under contract with WB at the moment, not sure...need to check it out.
