IMDb, the only movie site out there with more user submitted fan castings than CBM, has updated their Green Lantern movie page with a surprising addition.

Actor Eric Johnson is listed as being a rumored candidate to portray fan favorite Green Lantern Guy Gardner in the live action film. Johnson is most known for his role of Flash Gordon on the SyFy channel.

In comics mythology, Guy Gardner was one of three candidates selected to protect Space Sector 2814 in the Green Lantern Corps when Abin Sur crash landed on Earth and sent his ring to seek out a successor. Though just as worthy as Hal Jordan to wield the ring, he was further from Sur's crash site and therefore not chosen.
