unless the extra 15 minutes of this extended cut is set on oa,i really can't see the point of them extending the movie.

The movie's been out for three months and we still have people who are clearly Marvel fans doing nothing but bashing a DC movie. If u didnt like it get over it and move on with lives. Losers.
GREEN LANTERN WAS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!! and i will be buying it when it comes out.

Green Lantern really wasn't that bad guys. Yes, they screwed up Parallax and yes the movie could have been longer, but the Extended Cut fixes the length and Geoff Johns even approved the script. I liked it a lot more than Batman Forever, Batman & Robin, and Superman Returns. I even liked it better than Spider-Man 3, X2, and Iron Man 2. So, yeah, it wasn't the best, but it was a good movie. Especially if you aren't a comic book fan!!!!! Which, I am, but I've only heard good from non-comic fans, so there.

The movie is flawed in its theatrical cut, yes, but there are moments that really shine: Ryan as Hal was spot on, Mark Strong as Sinestro, fantastic; the Guardians being dicks, brilliant, Geoff Rush is just amazing period, Kilowog was fun, even some of the fight scenes were pretty to look at. Its flaw was too long on Earth and underdeveloped secondary villain. DC saw and agreed: There are flaws yes, but it's not unsavable. I will pick this up because it's still Green Lantern and I will do anything to support a dying industry because this is my love.
