Captured and posted last week in low-quality, yet another television ad for Martin Campbell's Green Lantern film has found it's way online. While the film hits theaters Friday, with reviews a mystery, though rising "negative", check out the spot below! Update: Warner Bros. has also revealed a "3 Days Countdown" tv spot.




Green Lantern follows a universe as vast as it is mysterious, where a small but powerful force has existed for centuries. Protectors of peace and justice, they are called the Green Lantern Corps. A brotherhood of warriors sworn to keep intergalactic order, each Green Lantern wears a ring that grants him superpowers. Thor and First Class had bad reviews but they were both excellent films. Im pretty sure this movie will rock. I hope that DC fans catch a break on this site and this movie does well opening weekend. This past month has been hell for them due to these butthurt fanboys.

@MrNoFear No its not. But this website in particular attracts them all hear. The fanboys not the fans there is a difference. The way I see it is if your a true comic book fan then you would not just bash one company but worship another. Its cool to have variety, but if someone likes DC more than Marvel then dont bash him for that and vice versa. Other than that I hope this movie keeps up our comicbook summer streak because so far Thor and Xmen First Class has been raising the bar.

the reviews are bad but when i see these tv spots man i feel this should be awesome,fun and action packed.i will still watch it but i will be glad if there were good reviews to this film and be fresh overall too (not that it guarantees box office payload,look at x-men)

The second trailer, '3 Day Countdown' briefly shows Hal's father, Martin Jordan's plane exploding. I think that's our first footage of the crash. Shown at 0:09.

I do find it funny Intruder makes more post on DC articles than Marvel's. ;P

Agreed with grif, loving the eerie feel of the first tv spot.

Currently 33% on Rotten Tomatoes. I don't follow critics to the bone, but I am concerned. Most poor reviews seem to point to a weak story and one says "origin-osis" as in it's too bogged down in it.
