Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters is set in the universe of the film with an original story by award-winning comic book writer Marv Wolfman. Players will take flight across the universe to planets Oa, Zamaron and Biot, and utilize an arsenal of constructs to restore intergalactic order by wielding the ultimate weapon: the Green Lantern Power Ring. Gamers playing the Xbox 360 or PS3 versions will also have the option to join forces with a friend to play as Hal Jordan or Sinestro to battle the Manhunters.




Green Lantern: Rise of the Manhunters is set to be released on June 7 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Wii, Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo DS. With an all star cast which includes Ryan Reynolds as Hal Jordan, Blake Lively as Carol Ferris and Mark Strong as Sinestro, director Martin Campbell's Green Lantern is set to be released in 3D on June 17, later this month!

This is what GL2 needs to be. See how fluid the combat looks? You see how his movements match that of the constructs? That's what the movie needs to be like, and it needs to be set all in space, with a threat that's not a cloud. I hope the new movie is good, but this is what it needed to be.

considering Campbell is the first to attempt a cbm of this magnitude i think hes done pretty well and if there's a sequel it will surely exceed the first one at least in the cgi arena

I'm actually playing this right now and it pains me to say that it's actually fun, but don't buy rent it it seems to be a short game only 10 chapters and at ch5 and playing for only 2 hrs.
They did a good job with combat, oh and Thor game really really really BLOWS.

I bought this game today and I love it!
Its probably the second best movie game behind wolverine origins.

looks like god of green war^^..gonna have this..now that i finaly got the early bird figure with the die cast ring...i´ll play it lantern style^^ looks cool..but thor does too but is just a hell of a game(not in the nice way of gaming) ;) sega why u do this to us comic fans???cool find josh!

Anyone know if there's any other characters besides Hal, Kilowog, Sinestro and the Manhunters? I mean if the game is just beating up Manhunters, I think I'd get sick of it. It would be cool if it had Atrocitus or Black Hand in it.

I am confused with this but Guy Gardner is listed as being in the game, and he is voiced by James Arnold Taylor whom I have interviewed. While IMDB may not always be the most accurate, the JAT/Guy connection has also been stated in other interviews for this game

I agree with you you adam430k. They could have gone so very far with this game and the Manhunters are the big villains??? I hope the come up with a more comic related game. The same guys who did Batman:Arkham Asylum/City.
