Out of the above list I vote for Michael Clark Duncan! He is the biggest and has the acting chops to pull this off. Thats what I say ComicBookMovie fans, what say you?

no way MPP. MCD has the mug for it and the voice, I agree that the charecter will be mostly CGI but MCD is a perfect fit for the special effects dept to model kilowog after. Just look at that face :P

MULTI @ All they need to do is CGI the face, otherwise he's gonna look as good as the HULK on film CGI'ed, which ain't that good.

Personally I would rather see Michael Clarke Duncan as Darkseid. But then again, we still have Michael Ironside for that. I just can't see MCD as Kilowog.

MPP: CGI departments take characteristics of the actors that are portraying the CGI character. It's been done for years now. So the answer to your question is Yes, because MCD has a big head and it is closest to the physic of Kilowogs. As far as the voice goes your right, but that's a minor speed bump. You can hire anyone to be a voice.

Multi- IMO, if they go full CG like Hulk, give it to Clancy hands down. But i frown on full CG. I'd rather they use a suit and give it to MCD. What you say about his voice is very accurate but it still doesn't bother me that much especially since he's not the main role. They should go the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle way on this. Animatronics baby ;)

Well MPP like Shamen said its not like Kilowog is going to have 45 minutes of voice lines in the movie probably more like two or three so it really wont matter. I could just see MCD nailing the role more so then anyone else on the list.

MULTI @ That don't mean KILOWOG is going all CGI, theres gonna be a sh1t load of CGI in this film!! : D

They should do the Alens like the PIRATES movies with DAVY JONES!!! Looks more real, all CGI on the aliens will look crap!

A mix of LIVE is a must!

Personaly, if they don't plan to give Kilowog a bigger part in any sequel i don't want them to cast any known actors. It will take away from the budget and we could miss out on better special effects and action scenes because of it.

Need to hear them all say "Poozer" to know for sure. I liked Michael Madsen's voice over in the GL animated movie, so maybe Michael Madsen for the voice and MCD for the body double.

@Mpp= It has nothing to do with height, but more to do with size. MCD fits the role better.

JENGA!! Someone give me a shot of whiskey!! I know its early but I dont care.
In the first GL movie he wont have much of a role, kinda like Sinestro, but in the second you can bet your ass he will be more involved. If the studio is smart, I know big IF, then they will hire a known actor for this role as it will expand in the future, just like in the Comic Books. SHOCK

Vin Diesel could work, he's got the voice for it. I'd take Michael Clarke Duncan though.

I gotta say I want the Kurgan for Kilowag. The thougth of Brown's voice calling Hal a poozer jsut seems right. MCD just doesn't have the vocal range, where as Clancy has given some amazing voice performances including Lex Luthor

and as 4 MCD...im wit @MPP on this...he sucked in daredevil..and street fighter....y giv him a third comic book movie role?..if i was gonna giv him any role in the comic world..it would be Apocalypse...i think i saw a shaman pic of it and it totally sold me...i dont get y ppl on here pic MCD 4 every big guy role...
