HOLY SHIT I hope Thanos looks like that in GOTG! Darkseid is the cooler villain in my opinion but I can't wait to eventually see both of them kicking ass on the big screen!

Thanos has become a more complex and layer character than Darkseid has. But that's what Marvel does..........

Well I'm only responding to someone else and giving my honest opinion. Marvel has definitely used Thanos a big bad much better than DC has used Darkseid. No question there. But I believe Darkseid has the potential to be much better than Thanos. Honestly, the New Gods do need heavy updating. Granny Goodness? Common... at least update Darkseid's servants because like him, they have the potential to be much better. He has three [frick]ing sons. One of them (Orion) has been written poorly by Azz, the other (Kalibak) is a joke and the third (Grayven) is very underused. At least Marvel has used Nebula and Gamora well and now we have Thane.

Then again, it's [frick]ing Sage. Maybe I should give up trying to have a conversation with him about the pros and cons of Marvel and DC and the potential instead of a flame war. Intruder may of been a dick a lot of the time but at least he was good for a few things around here... can't say I'm confident in Sage ever doing the same unless it's defending Marvel to high hell.

God am I annoyed at people who say DC characters have no depths... and what annoys me even more if DC themselves. Marvel has a goldmine and they know. DC does as well and they don't do shit with their characters. Even several of the big 7 are [frick]ing underused.

With Thanos they at least have done stories where he takes on the entire Universe... pisses me off how much underused and squandered potential there is at DC. Like that Superman/Wonder Woman romance. Have you ever tried reading a panel of those two, under even GOOD writers? Shit doesn't work in anyway.

Yes, I know (not sure if you're trying to rub anything in). Which is why DC annoys me because they waste the potential of their characters. How many times have I said characters like Raven are good enough for their own series?

It seriously doesn't help when DC keeps having Superman beat up Darkseid.
