It seems the rumors were true and The guardians will soon be coming to the small screen.

According to the Daily Marvelite, Marvel staff showed a test footage of Star Lord and Rocket raccon ending with an official annoucement of the toon.

No other detail has been made.

How do you guys feel about an animated series of the Guardians?

They have the appearance of the original Guardians of the Galaxy concept art and not the heroes actual looks in the movie now ;)

JamesMan - So true! I'll be cautiously optimistic about this, but that's it. If there's one thing I learned to hate about Marvel, it's their cartoons. It's incredible to see how bad their cartoons are when their last batch were actually good! Bring back the team that brought us Earth's Mightiest Heroes dammit!

Please just don't make them look like the ones from the ultimate spiderman and avengers assemble toons. I'd rather them use the suits from EMH.

i'll check it out,i'm liking the animation style & it can't be any worse than the current batch of marvel shows.

if it is,i'll keep watching anime until something decent comes along from marvel,dc isn't much better.

dio - Honestly they shouldn't have hired Man of Action, should have just done this inhouse. I want Marvel cartoons to be just as good as Gravity Fall dammit! Now that show has some good animation!

They really are giving the Guardians a huge push lately. Hopefully it pays off, but all I ask is that we start seeing far-reaching, branching storylines and a wider roster of characters. I'm thinking Bug, Adam Warlock, Moondragon, Cosmo, Mantis, Major Victory, among countless others. In other words, draw more inspiration from the DnA run rather than that of Bendis. He doesn't get these characters at all.

Sorry marvel,i will watch your movies and read some of your comics but after you cancelled EMH you can take your current animated line up and go [frick] yourselves.You guys need a bruce timm/andrea Ramano to oversee your animated stuff asap
