Before Guardians of the Galaxy was released, Star-Lord and company were definitely considered an obscure bunch of characters even by the most hardcore comic book fans. That all changed in 2014, though, and the movie changed the landscape of the Marvel Cinematic Universe forever.
Now, we've rounded up some keyframe concept art from the movie and as well as putting the spotlight on pretty much every major moment, we also get to see a deleted scene featuring Entropy, a character you may remember as the son of Eternity who has most often worked alongside Genis-Vell. There are also some interesting alternate designs for the Guardians.

As you may already be aware, he is the son of Eternity and part of a small cosmic pantheon that represents the three essential forces in the birth and death of the universe. While the history of the Infinity Stones was alluded to in Guardians of the Galaxy, it definitely appears as if director James Gunn was going to delve even further into that.
