I just really hope they change their minds about not using Warlock in the Infinity films... That would be a disappointment for me right off the bat.

@Kman - Me too, man.

@Kman - They said the story won't follow the comics, so I don't really see a problem there. I kinda like it actually.

@ODanil - Im not as optimistic as I enjoy the original Infinity Guantlet/War storyline... but we'll see how it all shakes out

Adam Warlock should be in Avengers Infinity War Pt 2, if he was introduced in GOTG vol. 2

There is a 4 year gap between GOTGV2 and A:IW so I'm hoping for a secret cameo or something along those lines. Having a "long gestation period" or something along those lines to keep him out would seem like a huge cop out. I would also be 100% in for a Netflix series focusing on the Original Guardians that takes place in the 70s and 80s (although it wouldn't matter much in space).

@MNLawyer - somethjng tells me we'll see them in Ragnorak

@MNLawyer - Budget would be waaaaaaaay to high even though I obviously would want to see that as well just isn't feasible

@MNLawyer - They will be in Vol 3. Gunn said Sly will be back in Vol 3.The "One Who Knows" AKA Starhawk, AKA Stakar of the House of Ogord. He will be joined by Charlie-27=Ving Rhames, Martinex T'Naga=Michael Rosenbaum, Aleta Ogord=Michelle Yeoh, and Mainframe=voice of Gusto's lady friend Miley Cyrus....I would be shocked if we did not see Moondragon and more of Ayesha,AKA Kismet, AKA HER, AKA Paragon,AKA J'Ridia Starduster The MCU's version of the High Evolutionary. Oh the stories they could tell!

@Lostcause - I know when they'll be popping up next. I also would be ok with the show happening in the 4 year gap between GOTGV2 and A:IW as it would be less CGI to deage some of the characters. Even if it was just an 8 part series that took place mostly in practical sets, and less in space it would be worth it (sort of like the Expanse).

Semi-related and I feel like I have to preface this by saying I love the MCU before people start bashing me haha. But if there was a giant space blob killing thousands of people and destroying towns in Missouri in 2014 why has there beenno talk of it whatsoever in anything else MCU? Am I nit picking or is this a plot hole
MNLawyer
MNLawyer - 5/8/2017, 8:55 AM
@EnnisFan - Bit of a plot hole simply based on the production schedule.

So now that I've seen the movie, I assume the theater showing Simon William movies was originally set to be engulfed by Ego's expanding blob thing.

Box Office: 'Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2' Just Rewrote The Book On Breakout Sequels

"If you treat Guardians 2 not like an MCU film opening in that key Avengers-friendly May slot but rather like a conventional sequel or even a typical MCU sequel, this is a huge win for all parties. A near-54% jump from Guardians 1 to Guardians 2 is a record for the MCU and an unprecedented increase for any sequel to a film that opened with more than $71 million the first time out. What this means is that a beloved franchise-starter that begins near the top of the debut weekend heap can still soar even higher the second time out if the stars align. It means that Marvel is the one place where sequels still consistently outperform the originals, at least on opening weekend. Your move, Ant-Man and the Wasp!"

@RagnarGolem - I don't feel like this movie outperformed the first GOTG. It fell short of being a great movie. Far too many cringe moments with forced humor for one thing. I feel the movie was good, just not great like the first one.
