Josh Brolin Reveals When He'll Next Be Working With Marvel As The Mad Titan 'Thanos'

Josh Brolin is officially the Marvel Cinematic Universe's big bad as The Mad Titan Thanos, but when are we going to see him again? Talking to Nuke The Fridge recently, the actor revealed when he will be working with the studio. "The fact that it’s so, it’s like, Yeah in 2016 and ’17, what am I going to be doing? Oh, I’m going to be doing that," he revealed. This means Thanos could return in any number of movies, with Guardians of the Galaxy 2 a likely candidate and Avengers: Infinity War a guarantee. Are we going to see him perhaps show up in somone's solo movie on the hunt for an Infinity Stone though? He wouldn't say, but did have the following to share about playing the iconic villain. "I’m very lucky in that way, man. I just get presented these things and I go wow, really? Why now and why this? The possibilities for Thanos are unlimited. I loved doing it. It was great. It was totally different. That’s not even the reason why I did it. I just loved the idea of that. It’s a really fun deal. I was more nervous during that than I think I’ve been in a long time because it’s a very different venue with 32 cameras or whatever surrounding you, and paint but fun."

I lost hope in infinity war after I heard the russeo brothers would be directing. No offense to them, but whedon has this planned from the beginning, why replace him unless marvel had doubts...

Thanos is the laziest guy I've ever seen... he likely won't get up until 2018.

He's being painted. That means he's going non-mocap for the role. At least not fully. Perfect.

When it all goes down, and Thanos gets to show his stuff. I want it to be like the fight from the second season of EMH where Doom took down the Avengers and the FF without breaking a sweat. Even my wife, who is not a fan, dropped her jaw and said, "Holy shit! He's a real badass". That is my wish.

This will be awesome. I wonder if DC is going to do something simular or will they be afraid of looking like copy cats?
either way, I can't wait to see Marvels heroes vs Thanos, Justice League vs Darkseid and X-men vs Apocalypse. if done right, these 3 battles should be the best one screen battles ever.....EVER!!!!!!!

Of course he's going to show up before gotg 2. Honestly he freaking better. Going to be a bit hard to believe that he just shows up and then the avengers are like, "well, let's go fight this giant alien whom we know nothing about." There seriously has to be major character development with him and having some sort of contact with earth and at least 1 of the avengers. And just using Loki telling the avengers that he's coming and how bad he is would be cheating.

@Nomis

But, Brolin has the advantage in DIFFERENT characters played, with 5 to Evans' 4.
