More Marvel! Kevin Feige had a quick interview with the guys over at ScreenCrush and he took the time to share that Nova was actually apart of the early process of the film but, "there was a fork in the road that we came to at one point in the development process where we decided to eliminate Nova and go full-on with Peter Quill’s story."

For those of you who are not familar with Nova he is (as Marvel.com describes him):

Randomly chosen to become a member of the Nova Corps until the Annihilation Wave destroyed them all, leaving him imbued with their combined power and guided by the super-intelligent Worldmind computer, Richard Rider wages a one-man battle for justice as Nova.

So do you want to see Richard Rider/Nova in the MCU soon? Do you think he can still cameo in Guardians of the Galaxy? Sound off below!
