The Star Trek Into Darkness actress doesn't reveal too much more about her role as the green-skinned warrior from Marvel's upcoming Guardians Of The Galaxy, but she does say she'll be back in London soon to shoot, and talks about the special effects that'll be used to become Gamora..

Saldana says she just signed on, and will be back in London in 3 weeks to shoot. Interestingly, she also confirms that it will be good old fashioned practical make-up (as opposed to CGI, or performance capture) that will enhance her appearance to become Gamora in the movie. Can we expect the same for Dave Bautista's Drax? Hopefully more GOTG info will begin to leak over the next couple of weeks.

I'm loving the news for GotG, by far my most anticipated CBM ever. Also glad DnA were consulted. Solid cast so far, keep it coming. :]

Terrible choice for Gamora...should have been Rosario Dawson or someone with curves.

Zoe isn't that great an actress & there are sooooo many talented & sexy unknown ladies that could have also been given a shot.

This pick is what I think is Marvel Studios first real mistake in casting.

She's fine, she was awesome in Avatar. She's a killing machine trained from birth to be a lean mean fighting machine, not a goddamn stripper.

Seriously,it's annoying that she got the role..her small boobs are not the issue,what's paramount is that she does not look the part to me & I find her boring.

She needs to pack on like 15-20 lbs of muscle. And then do an appreciable amount of her own fights like Carrie-Anne Moss did in The Matrix. Then I'll be happy with this choice. Otherwise she can [frick] off.

You like Zoe for the role as Gamora & I do not. There has to be the back & forth,pros & cons.
If everyone liked everything & we all agreed,life would be miserable.

All the actresses that marvel chosen have been solid choices. I believe in their judgement more than any one on any site. Glad they have the eye that are oblivious to some on this site. I'm ecstatic with her being Gamora.

I caught Shallow Hal on the tube a few nights ago and I couldn't help but think that Jason Alexander would make a great Rocket Raccoon. There are few actors that are funnier when they're angry.

I'm surprised by all the negativity towards Zoe here. I think she's totally going to rock this roll... (okay, bad pun... sorry for that). Anyway, though she doesn't have the largest breasts in Hollywood, she's still one of the most beautiful women working in film these days and she has a great body, just not ginormus ta-tas. Besides like a few others mentioned, I don't expect her to have a comic acute, cleavage showing outfit. Hell, look at how they covered up ScarJo's Widow and she does have the breasts to make an outfit work that drops the neckline to her belly button!

Anyway to wrap it up, as much as I love boobies, I think Zoe will be a great choice!
