From Marvel, the studio that brought you the global blockbuster franchises of Iron Man, Thor, Captain America and The Avengers, comes a new team—the Guardians of the Galaxy. An action-packed, epic space adventure, Marvel's “Guardians of the Galaxy” expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits—Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon, Groot, a tree-like humanoid, the deadly and enigmatic Gamora and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when Quill discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand—with the galaxy's fate in the balance.

Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy,” stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, featuring Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot, Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, with John C. Reilly, Glenn Close as Commander Rael and Benicio del Toro as The Collector. James Gunn is the director and the story is by Nicole Perlman and James Gunn, with screenplay by James Gunn. It comes to 3D/2D Blu-ray & DVD this November.

Thanos did not do anything when Ronan disrespected and shouted at him... in-front of his daugther. What a limp boss...

I loved this movie.

Gusto, the Tigers just blew a 3 run lead. 0-2. Rough. Good thing your 292 million dollar man won't take his 300k playoff bonus. hahahahahaha

I didn't like the GotG design for Thanos. He just seemed a little puny or something (probably because there was nothing to compare him to in shot). That face wall would have been cool, though.

@jCameron What would you have him do? Yell at him? It's not like he can just whiz right to him and beat the crap out of him. I would imagine Thanos' domain being pretty far out in the middle of nowhere.

I've come around to Thanos' look in Guardians. He does resemble a titan or ogre in his proportions and general look, but his face is a bit of a departure from his comic look. Overall I like it, and would only really change his eyes, skin colour, and smile.
