Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits–Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon, Groot, a tree-like humanoid, the deadly and enigmatic Gamora and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when Peter discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand - with the galaxy’s fate in the balance. Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy is presented by Marvel Studios and stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Bradley Cooper as the voice of Rocket, Vin Diesel as the voice of Groot, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gilian, Djimon Hounsou with John C. Reilly, Glenn Close as Commander Rael and Benicio del Toro as The Collector. Distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures, the film opens August 1, 2014

Smart move making Drax so literal and devoid of emotions...didn't hire Bautista for his acting chops, working with the strengths of the actors, well done Mr. Gunn!

I wanna know what Rocket says in response to Star Lord asking "You think she likes me?" I can't hear it, but this is Marvel we're talking about, so it's probably a snappy one-liner.

@TheAbaryMan Rocket responds to Star-Lord by saying, "You got issues, pal."

"I like your knife I'm keeping it"

I probably laughed way too hard but his delivery made it funny. Only a couple more weeks... I can taste the excitement. Taste like something good... Something bad... Bit 'o both.

Batz hit the nail on the head. We haven't been hearing much dialogue from Drax, so I was concerned Bautista wouldn't mesh well with the other actors.

It looks like he fits right in with the group though. I think that's hilarious Drax will be the butt of jokes on the team.

Love that GOTG banner there. Is that official or fan made? Looks boss and is going on my desktop.

Yeah, I'm still sure the film will be very enjoyable at the least. I've been avoiding tons of trailers and tv spots lately so I can be all surprised when I see it at the cinema. I think everyone is going to dig Rocket Raccoon but hopefully everyone will being something good to the table.

Yea, the one I saw last night focused on both Drax and Gamora.....I really hope Ronan really isn't responsible for the tragedies in their lives like the tv spot said.

A little over 2 more weeks!

Okay, it's there (again) now. :)

I really like the delivery of "I like your knife I'm keeping it", with Drax turning to walk away. Funny stuff!

There is something very awkward about Batista's dialogue. I don't like it. Hopefully it's just the trailer and comes off more natural in the film
