Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is expected to open big when it finally hits US theaters this weekend, and it's already off to a terrific start internationally after amassing another $26.9M thanks to a stellar May Day Monday at the offshore box office. This brings James Gunn's hilarious space-adventure up to $132.9 million in total.

If the film performs as well as early tracking estimates indicate, it could take in as much as $150M over its first weekend in The States, and it's yet to open in several key locations such as Korea, Russia, Argentina and China.
