New GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Vol. 2 Cast Pic Sees Pom Klementieff Join The Team
James Gunn has posted a new BTS image of the GOTG team to his Facebook page. They're not in costume, but we do get our first look at Oldboy's Pom Klementieff (Mantis) alongside her new cast-mates.
We probably still have a bit of a wait until James Gunn unveils an offcial still from the currently shooting Guardians of the Galaxy sequel, but to tide us over the director has been sharing some cool behind-the-scenes snaps from the rehearsals.
This latest pic features Chris Pratt (Star Lord), Dave Bautista (Drax), Zoe Saldana (Gamora), Michael Rooker (Yondu), Karen Gillan (Nebula), Sean Gunn (Kraglin/double for Rocket), and the new kid of the block, Pom Klementieff (Mantis).
Gunn included the caption: High on believing. The Guardians of the Galaxy and frenemies.
Set to the all-new sonic backdrop of Awesome Mixtape #2, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 continues the team’s adventures as they unravel the mystery of Peter Quill’s true parentage. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 is produced by Marvel Studios’ president, Kevin Feige, with Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Jonathan Schwartz, Nik Korda and Stan Lee serving as executive producers.
The Marvel sequel is set to hit theaters on May 5, 2017.
